✅ Application #22 Sponsorship and Support: Driving Community Growth and Onboarding for The Sandbox

@Goldenson

I went back through my post and bolded the questions for your reference. Here they are below with your answers.

  • I asked: What exactly did you optimize? I don’t see anything sandbox on any of them. Your X account labels yourself as a shiller…?

    • You answered “Have labeled myself as part of the Sandbox,” and I see on your X profile that you removed the “shiller” reference and on your X, YouTube, TikTok channels you added “I am a Sandbox creator”.
    • I’d still like to know. When you submitted for your milestone approval you said you had optimized, what optimizing did you do? Why did your X account label yourself as a shiller?
  • I asked How did this X space do that? when comparing how your first X Space went.

    • You showed me the screenshot with 82 people tuning in. Were 82 people there live in the Space with you? I searched Google for what “tuned in” means and some websites talk about how many people were there live, and others report that it’s something different from that. Grok says
Grok answer to the question

The “tuned in” number on X Spaces is meant to show the number of live listeners in a Space at a given time. However, discrepancies can occur for a few reasons:
Technical Glitches or Delays: The platform may not always update the listener count in real-time due to caching or network issues, leading to an inaccurate display. This can happen if the app or server is slow to refresh the count.

Bots or Inactive Accounts: Some accounts may join a Space but not actively listen (e.g., bots or users who join and leave quickly). These may still be counted in the “tuned in” number if the system doesn’t immediately register their departure.

Anonymous Listeners: Listeners can join via direct links without logging in, and these users might not be fully reflected in the visible participant list but could contribute to the “tuned in” count.

Platform Errors: As noted in some X posts, the platform sometimes struggles to accurately distinguish between live listeners, total views, or impressions, which can inflate the “tuned in” number. For example, impressions (how many times the Space appeared in feeds) might be mistakenly displayed instead of concurrent listeners.

If you noticed only a few active participants but a high “tuned in” number, it’s likely a combination of these factors. X Spaces analytics can also be reviewed post-session to get a clearer picture of live listeners versus replays, which might help clarify engagement. Always treat such metrics with skepticism, as platform inaccuracies are common.

  • I asked Can you link me the survey please? Where can I see the 73 responses? Please provide that when you can.

  • I asked if you could please show me the feedback you were referencing when you said “Feedback from new users suggests strong interest in game asset creation and monetization strategies.” Please help me see this when you can please.

And secondly, concerning the space hosting, can i change some things in my proposal?

  1. Removing Roblox and Minecraft from my outreach and includes Algorand Community into it
  2. Can i remove space hosting and focus more on creating contents? Seems that’s what my community love most.
Recently. There’s network failure in Nigeria which stop Kunms ( one of my team) ftom joining the space.
If i focus on Making content. I believe it we be more better than space.
    1. I’m a bit confused about this. What is causing you to want to change from Roblox & Minecraft to Alorgand? Why Algorand?
    1. No, I already approved the max number of grants for content creators in the West African Region. I approved your grant because it was focused on something different from what I had already approved. What is causing you to want to change what you had applied for in your grant?
