We’re finalizing details for our next QF round on Giveth- this one will pilot a powerful new mechanism called Cause Markets.
Cause Markets allow anyone to launch a curated bundle of public goods projects under a unifying theme (like education, AI, open-source, climate). Each bundle becomes a tradable tokenized economy using bonding curves, and fees + matching funds are redistributed by an AI donation agent to the most impactful projects. It’s aligned with the spirit of Public Goods funding, while also pushing the boundaries on sustainability and regenerative funding mechanics
This round is scheduled to launch on September 9, with application forms opening early next week. The current target for the matching pool is $30-40k, with contributions expected from Public Nouns, ShapeShift, and potentially Polygon and Ethereum Foundation.
If Sandbox comes in at $10k, we’d love to feature you as one of the lead sponsor of this experimental round. That includes:
• Higher tier branding across the round’s site, comms, and social media (vs to what was proposed initially)
• Recognition as the funder supporting Giveth’s shift toward regenerative, market-driven public goods
This is a unique opportunity to shape and spotlight a new public goods primitive - not just fund projects, but seed entire cause-driven micro-economies.
Based on the original proposal, just want to check if we’re all good to close out Milestone 1 and move forward:
Milestone 1: Round Launch Preparation (~25%)
• Confirm sponsorship level and round specs 
• Matching pool will be on Polygon, with eligibility and timeline now defined
• Cause Market applications open early August, round starts September 9
If that all looks good, we’ll proceed to planning co-marketing, securing the first milestone payment and keep you looped in on all timelines.
