@hishmad,
your insight is exactly why voices like yours are so important to the future of this ecosystem.
Sandbox Africa is not here to control; we’re here to facilitate growth, amplify creators, and bridge more communities into the ecosystem. The stronger the grassroots, the stronger the network effect for everyone: builders, players, and the ecosystem at large.
Our vision is simple: to amplify the work of people, not to overshadow it.
I think it would be helpful if you drew up a simple one or two-page charter and highlight the parts where @hishmad can visualize what you’re saying about Sandbox Africa is NOT here to control. That would be a powerful piece of evidence in my opinion
Yes sir, We’re already working on a proposal according to the feedbacks and suggestions gotten so far, Now we’re 80% done.
Also I represented sandbox Yesterday at a web3 Event, happened Here in Lagos, Nigeria Africa and I am also visiting Ghana for EthAccra event, one of the biggest web3 community event in Africa.
Pictures will be dropped soon.
We’re already making adoption and a big thanks to y’all our amazing helpers and supporters. @hishmad@Lanzer@theKuntaMC and all other delegates.
Nice. Even if you Chat GPT parts of it I think that would work. As long as you state that it represents the intent and approach of Sandbox Africa and you specifically highlight the part that Hishmad and others are skeptical, I think that’ll do nicely
I recommend putting it in a google word doc, then making that doc publicly commentable. That way people can offer their insight directly. In my experience, that’s the best and fastest way to gain support
Reading Yat Siu’s thoughts on mass adoption and ownership reminded me strongly of what we are building with Sandbox Africa.
Our focus is simple but powerful:
Onboarding at scale: Africa has millions of young people ready to explore Web3 but not yet onboarded. We want to create entry points that are simple, relatable, and rewarding.
Education first: true adoption won’t come from complexity; it comes from building financial literacy and digital awareness that empower users.
Ownership for participants: just as Yat highlighted, the future is in networks where value flows back to the community. Our vision is to help African gamers, creators, and builders see themselves as owners, not just users.
Mass adoption in Africa will not be driven by hype but by clear education, accessible tools, and products that make sense from day one. That is the heart of Sandbox Africa’s mission.
Thank you @Biversen for sharing your honest view. I deeply respect your perspective.
To clarify, Sandbox Africa isn’t just about “education.” Our goal is direct ecosystem growth
New creators = publishing assets & games
New players = joining events & marketplace
New buyers = lands & assets in Africa
Bring in Local brands into the ecosystem
Africa is young, fast-growing, and untapped. By onboarding now, The Sandbox secures first-mover advantage and long-term value for the DAO.
We’re not just explaining Web3, we’re bringing in new builders, players, and transactions that will strengthen the whole ecosystem.
It’s a new market for the ecosystem, and Education is part of the tool needed to win the target market.
Well said . I completely agree this isn’t just about education, it’s about real ecosystem expansion.
Onboarding African creators, players, and brands means fresh assets, games, and transactions flowing into The Sandbox.
Africa is the youngest, fastest-growing market, capturing it early is a first-mover edge for the DAO.
Education is just the entry point, but the real goal is sustainable growth powered by new builders, new communities, and new economic activity.
This proposal is exactly the kind of forward-looking initiative the ecosystem needs.
hello @Biversen just like @Aremion said Education is just the entry point, but the real goal is sustainable growth powered by new builders, new communities, and new economic activity.
A new restructured version of this proposal will be published on or before Thursday.
A lot of edits and detailing has been made and thanks for the suggestions and opinions so far, We’re still open to taking more questions and suggestions.
Good day and sorry for keeping quiet for a week plus now.
Trust me, it hasn’t been easy research and rewriting the whole proposal and repurposing but it only gonna take us time before we finally have the final updated version public here in the dao.
We’re trying our best to work on the suggestions made by our amazing delegates and community supporters.
Just be patient with us and we promise to deliver.
