Hello, the 100k refers to the work the NFT team is doing (SIP 26) and the money we have made by liquidating a portion of the collection, as per their mandate and their objectives in the SIP

GM Cyril, thanks so much for the update and all the work the DAO team is doing .. much love and really appreciate the transparency.
quick question: since the DAO has invested almost 3m $SAND, is there a way in future reports we could also show the benefits/value we’ve gained: players or developers in our ecosystem in particular ? … I’d love to get a better sense of what our overall measure of success looks like when it comes to spending on projects, initiatives, or events that were pitched to capture players or builders.
obviously The Sandbox already has its own marketing department and budget, but since our DAO budget is limited, I just want to understand if our investments are bringing in a meaningful number of interested people compared to the Sandbox marketing efforts.

It’s a good question. I very much like the idea of the SIP author being accountable. This is what we try to enforce by applying a strict milestone review process with him/her during the curation process. The process of agreeing on fair milestones with the author remains difficult to this day, and this is one of the reasons some curations take more time than others. For a payment to be made, the milestone must have been reached and the author must demonstrate to the admin team that the work has been completed and/or the KPI has been met.
As every SIPs are different, a consolidation of milestone completion impact is difficult to achieve, but I’ll very much keep in mind as a way to improve this report.

Hey @Cyril , just curious, how are things going for the DAO Admin Team? It could just be my perception, it feels like response times and SIP progress seems to have slowed a bit?

I’m hoping that the Special Council elections can give some much needed help to DAO leadership and support. We’re nearing the SCs term ending on Dec 31st, when do you think the nomination process will begin?

Perhaps fewer SIP submission are due to the holidays and market pullbacks? people are distracted
Response times: as for admin team, we’ve got “holiday/vacation” days we’ve got to use to meet budget, and most were saved for this time of year (at least, I can speak for myself).
