This is the ideal grant application. It was specific, measurable, clearly laid out a plan and clearly demonstrated the value in funding this grant. It answered follow-on questions before even being asked (such as how noReality/Sandbox Walkthrough benefited from this grant).
Q1: Name of your Grant
- Score: 5 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: Excellent name. Superb creativity.
Q2: Total Grant amount in USD ($)
- Score: 4 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: Within acceptable range, and will apply higher scrutiny due to being above $3K.
Q3: Evaluation Factor – Specific
- Score: 4 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. Additional input needed.
- Rationale: Plan is thorough, specific, and it’s easy to understand what you want to achieve. No penalty to your score will be applied if you don’t adjust #3 “Build and manage a Discord community” based on what is requested next. I’m looking for rationale, not a knee-jerk reactive change.
Something I want to ask about here is, is this Discord already created? I have no expectation that it is, just need to know yes or no. I want you to carefully consider if Discord is the best place for you to put your energy. I watched some of your unversed.org videos and they demonstrate #s 1 and 2 very clearly. It’s so impactful, I wonder if #3 is truly maximizing your expertise. What about a separate Discord community do you believe is the best place to host Q&As, gameplay hangouts, challenges, etc…versus other platforms, or TSB Discord itself? What about managing a separate community makes Discord the solution of choice here?
Q4: Evaluation Factor – Measurable
- Score: 4 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. Additional input needed.
- Rationale: Great job. Milestones are clear. Only input I request is to confirm that in total, you are producing 3+6+5=14 videos, several images (x2), and one giveaway campaign/content challenge. This is what I counted across your 3 milestones for the content you listed you’ll produce.
Q5: Evaluation Factor – Accountable
- Score: 5 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: It is clear who these two points of contact are. Content videos make them readily identifiable. Content from website itself is clearly from real people, voiceover and animations are crisp and demonstrate quality + expertise in content creation. Per discussion in Discord, please email me confirmation of your ownership of the email addresses for Tobik and Maia.

Q6: Evaluation Factor – Realistic
- Score: 5 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: Clearly laid out how your application will impact TSB ecosystem. Connected it to people and purpose sections. Reference to community cohesion is directly addressing TSB engagement needs.
Q7: Evaluation Factor – Timely
- Score: 4 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: Timeline is cited in Q4 Measurable. Confirmed Aug 30 completion date and offered additional support if required.
- Note: If successful, is likely to be eligible to apply for second grant.
Q8: Evaluation Factor – Disclosure
- Score: 5 of 5
- Decision: Meets intent of the question. No additional input needed.
- Rationale: One of the best disclosures inputted out of 20 applications. Even went so far as to answer a natural follow-on question for the third contact identified (noReality) and the connection Sandbox Walkthrough has to the grant’s success. Superb.
- Note: Transparency and Team Compensation add-on sections instilled confidence in the viability of this grant application and built faith that this team is here to deliver on its proposed goals.
