Hello, everyone.
Initially, I was under the impression that the first milestone would be paid in advance. This was important because, in order to fully execute it, we need upfront funds to cover payments for editors, a graphic designer, and other operational costs.
I had a great conversation with Lanzer via Discord, and I’m happy to share that we reached a clear agreement: we’re adding a new milestone before the original first one. This will ensure we have the necessary resources in place from the start.
This new milestone, titled “Pre-Production Kickoff,” will be considered complete once scriptwriting officially begins.
Deliverables will include:
- Initial outlines and drafts for the first batch of scripts (available in our Notion workspace)
- Internal alignment on creative direction
I’ll be sharing screenshots of the Notion progress here, and sending the full texts privately to Lanzer to avoid any leaks.
The new initial milestone will be for $2,284.50, and the original first milestone has been adjusted to match that amount. Therefore, I suggest we cancel the previous $4,569 USD invoice and replace it with a new one for $2,284.50.
We also added another change: instead of starting with the news-style video, we’ll begin with a more general video about what The Sandbox is. We believe it’s more appropriate for this context.

Yes, that’s correct.
I also wanted to take a moment to share some updates on what we’ve been working on.
Thanks to the first payment we received, we’ve officially kicked off production. So far, we’ve completed two short videos and written scripts for seven more for X. This goes above and beyond our original commitment, as we’re aiming to deliver even more value than initially promised.
In that spirit, @noReality has been recording gameplay for the first tutorial video, as well as for the featured experiences content—this is the additional material I mentioned earlier.

In addition, our graphic designer has begun developing the project’s new visual identity, along with creating templates for our social media channels. Note that the final version will be slightly different from this.
As you may have noticed, there has been a slight delay in reaching some of our milestones. This was mainly due to the timing of the payment and the confirmation of the grant. With that now resolved, we’re moving forward, and the first posts are set to go live in early July.

Thank you for the update. This looks really, really good. Would you mind please, what was the date you sent the invoice for payment, and what was the payment date? Did you have any challenges in sending the payment itself, as in choosing the right combination of invoice currency, payment network (chain), and payment currency?
This isn’t meant to embarrass anyone. I’d like to know so that we can do some process improvement on our end, por favor y gracias!

The invoice was issued on June 16, 2025 and paid on June 18, 2025. I had no challenges in sending the payment itself.

Hello, @Lanzer. We’ve completed Milestone 2.
We have:
- Launched our social media accounts and started posting content (@thesandspark on all platforms)
- Produced and published two short promotional videos on social media
- Released a full introductory video of TSB, translated into 9 languages
We’re excited to move on to the next stage with fresh content and a few extra things we’ve been working on behind the scenes.
The current invoice pending approval is for $2,284.50.
