Project Overview:

MetaMind Creative is a solo-led content initiative exploring the intersection of on-chain data, narrative storytelling, and emotional wellness within different DAOs.

The project will leverage insights from the DAOs (proposals, voting patterns, contributor behavior), and pair them with personal and collective reflections on what it means to create within decentralized ecosystems, including burnout, creative doubt, and identity. I’d be incorporating data from https://DAObase.ai as part of my research.

Languages: Content will be localized in English, Igbo, and Pidgin for accessibility and cultural relevance.

Key Outcomes: -

  • A mini-series of 7 content pieces (blogs, videos, threads, voice-based content)
  • A DAO-centric storytelling thread based on data insights and creator emotions
  • A final community workspace session and recap post highlighting findings, reflections, and feedback

Here’s an outline of the content, I’d be delivering.

  1. “My First DAO Data Dive: What the Numbers Say About Participation” [Blog] Medium.

Here’s what I’d be covering; what I discovered, how I explored proposals/votes, and what intrigued me. This approach will increase participation and help creators understand how to vote, and why it matters.

  1. “DAO Burnout is Real: 5 Emotional Signals You Might Be Missing” [Blog] Medium.

I’d be making content on top emotional struggles creators face in DAOs based on my wellness survey and personal insight. This will improve retention and help Sandbox learn why some contributors disengage.

  1. “Wetin DAO Mean? Story From a First Timer” [X / YouTube].

I will be making an explainer about what DAOs are, using storytelling and my early experiences referencing Sandbox as well. [This will be done with a blend of Pidgin English]

  1. “Sandbox DAO: What Voting Feels Like as a Newbie” [X/YouTube]

The emotional journey of participating in governance, fear, doubt, and feeling heard, especially for newbies who have little or no idea of how things work. A data insight comparison between DAOs using Sandbox as a reference (English + Igbo mix).

  1. “The Loneliness of Onchain Creation (My Journey into DAO Data)” [X/YouTube]

This is a personal podcast-style reflection on being a solo creator in a decentralized space, and how Sandbox became my amplifier in the space.

  1. “A Creator Speaks: DAO Burnout No Be Joke”

Pidgin-English voice content based on real wellness survey responses from creators especially those in Africa.

  1. “DAO x Wellness: 7 Lessons from the Sandbox DAO” [X Thread]

I’d be making an Infographic with story-based data: stress triggers, participation blockers, how to protect mental health, and perform well in DAOs.

2. Content Creation 40%
Publish 7 content pieces:

  • 2 blog (e.g my journey into DAO data)
  • 2 short-form videos
  • 2-voice story (podcast-style)
  • 1 visual thread on DAO x wellness

Videos will be produced on YouTube and X, while blogs will be produced on Medium and Visual Thread on X, and content will be produced in English, Igbo, and Pidgin English.

  • Increase DAO Awareness:
    Demystify how DAOs work using culturally relevant language and stories that speak directly to first-time or overwhelmed creators.

  • Humanize Participation with Data + Emotion:
    Turn raw on-chain data into real, emotionally resonant creator narratives using burnout, loneliness, and empowerment as storytelling angles.

  • Empower Local Creators with Language & Tools:
    Provide content that speaks in their voice (Igbo, Pidgin, English) reducing friction, building connection, and increasing participation from underrepresented regions.

3. Community Recap & Report | 10%

  • Host 1 Twitter Space; Release a final “content” recap post.

Instead of a Zoom session, I’ll host an X Space on:

“What DAO Data Reveals About Creator Wellness”

Deliverable:

  • Host X Space in Week 8

Pin a summary thread during the Space with:

  • Links from all the content and insights I gathered during the program.

  • Add a downloadable link [Notion Drive] to the full report in the Sandbox DAO

  • Share key takeaways during the space in spoken format (in English, and Pidgin)

  • Submit summary + metrics of project impact (engagement, feedback, reach)

This project will be published on YouTube, X, and Medium and aligns with the people, product, and purpose of The Sandbox DAO in several ways:

  • People: It empowers solo creators and marginalized voices to better understand DAO systems and the emotional reality of participating in decentralized communities.

  • Product: The insights and storytelling will highlight how DAO tools and data can be better understood and humanized, creating a deeper sense of adoption and retention.

  • Purpose: This grant encourages creative sustainability and value output in DAOs by integrating emotional intelligence with informative storytelling, all vital for long-term contributor health.

By delivering content in English, Igbo, and Pidgin, MetaMind Creative also supports accessibility, diversity, strengthens global inclusion, and makes the DAO feel more human to African communities and solo builders.

Start – End: July 1st – August 25th, 2025

  • Week 1: DAO research begins, survey and content outline [July 1st]
  • Week 2-6: Content scripting, blog & thread development, tool purchase. [July 7th - August 7th] Publish main content: 2 videos, 2 blogs, 2 threads, 1 workshop, and 1 visual thread post.
  • Week 7- 8: Community recap, AMA, and final project report [August 11th - August 25th]

All outcomes will be completed before the SGDP deadline of August 30th, 2025.

  • Visibility and participation within the Sandbox DAO as a solo creator.
  • Capacity to inspire and inform other creators facing similar challenges in Web3 using data storytelling, analysis.
