Same as the primary contact.

I am a solo creator, and every deliverable will be handled by me.

#Q6. Evaluation Factor – Realistic

Writers and creators often struggle to connect with complex tools or understand how they fit into ecosystems like Sandbox. By creating an intentional space for them, this initiative will:

● Increases tool adoption from a non-technical audience.
● Encourages community-powered storytelling in Sandbox.
● Supports the platform’s mission to empower the next
generation of world-builders.
● Converts passive learners into active DAO participants and creators.

Also, my content will be published on Medium and Twitter, and I will make mention of Sandbox for amplification and employ good usage of hashtags.

This aligns with Sandbox’s product and purpose: giving power back to creators to shape the open metaverse.

#Q7. Evaluation Factor – Timely

➜Week 1 Setup, Tools purchased, online hub launched.

➜Week 2–6, Content Rollout, Publish 8+ Content, 3 videos, 2 workshops, Twitter Space.

Thank you, Lanzer for taking your time to go through my submission, it means a lot to me.

Here’s my feedback.

Q3: Evaluation Factor – Specific

The MetaMinds Creator Hub is currently in the conceptual phase, with several pre-production elements already in place, including:

➤Episode outlines
➤Sample scripts
➤Visual branding drafts
➤Educational themes for storytelling in Web3

The grant would fund the equipment setup, final production, and distribution phase.

All video content will be hosted on YouTube, cross-posted to X (Twitter), while blog content will be documented on Medium, and embedded into a Notion/Framer-based hub page for easy access.

What makes MetaMinds unique is that it complements existing Sandbox tutorials by focusing on:

➤ Narrative-building and storytelling within the metaverse
➤ Onboarding young writers and creatives into the Sandbox ecosystem
➤ Delivering content in local languages (Igbo, Pidgin, English) to connect with African audiences often overlooked in onboarding pipelines.

The focus here is to merge creativity and accessibility, serving creators who think in stories rather than code.

Q4: Evaluation Factor – Measurable

Deliverables include:

➤ 6 total content pieces

➥2 educational tutorial videos
➥2 documentary-style video showcases (featuring African creators building on Sandbox)
➥2 blog posts (on Medium), focused on writing quests and navigating DAO systems

➤ 2 virtual workshops (via Zoom)

➥One focused on storytelling & quest design
➥One focused on Sandbox DAO participation

➤ 2 short-form “Storytellers in the Metaverse” creator interviews (3–5 mins each)

All media will be optimized for reach across Twitter, YouTube, and Medium.

My writing and educational content hub on Medium

This is a solo project, and all public-facing accountability will come through my verified X and Medium platforms. In future phases, I may include collaborators for distribution and community growth.

Q6: Evaluation Factor – Realistic

Yes, I speak English, Igbo, and Pidgin English, and I will incorporate these languages into the MetaMinds delivery, for content, voiceovers, or context where culturally appropriate.

To make the impact more ecosystem-aligned, I’m expanding the focus to include DAO-specific content, such as:

➻ How to vote on Sandbox proposals
➻ How to navigate the DAO portal
➻ How to build proposal-aligned creative projects as a writer/creator

This approach allows Sandbox to reach new creator bases in West Africa, increase DAO participation from underrepresented regions, and empower non-technical creatives to feel at home in the metaverse.

Q8: Evaluation Factor – Disclosure

I know @vicwritesall through the creative Web3 community. We’ve co-hosted a Twitter Space in the past, and we are mutuals on X. I discovered this grant via his shared content.

However, we are not partners in any formal capacity, and we’re located in different regions. We’ve never met in person, and MetaMinds is an independent initiative I am leading solo.

We do share similar values around education and creative empowerment, which is why you might’ve noticed overlapping themes. I’ve also received feedback and support from other creators which Grok may have surfaced as cross-recognition.

I’m very excited about MetaMinds and the opportunity to introduce storytelling and narrative design as creative entry points into Sandbox. Thank you once again for the evaluation and the chance to improve this proposal.

Please let me know if further clarification is needed. Thank you

Would you be willing to post a few of those screenshots you don’t mind making public here in this thread

How do these things complement existing Sandbox tutorials?

I discovered this grant via his shared content. However, we are not partners in any formal capacity

Okay, thank you for the disclosure.

Where I am right now is that I have 2 grants that are located within Nigeria, and another that has applied for funding. At this time, I’m not able to take on additional grants with such a similar focus.

Do you have another focus you can rescope your grant to?

Hi Lanzer,

Thank you again for the honest feedback. I fully understand the concern around overlapping projects within the region.

In response, I’d love to rescope my grant into a project that brings something truly distinct to the Sandbox ecosystem, one that isn’t currently being addressed by any other applicant.

Q1. Name of your Grant
MetaMind Creative

Q2. Total Grant Amount in USD ($)
$2,400 USD

Q3. Evaluation Factor – Specific
Project Overview:

MetaMind Creative is a solo-led content initiative exploring the intersection of on-chain data, narrative storytelling, and emotional wellness within different DAOs.

The project will leverage insights from the DAOs (proposals, voting patterns, contributor behavior), and pair them with personal and collective reflections on what it means to create within decentralized ecosystems, including burnout, creative doubt, and identity. I’d be incorporating data from https://DAObase.ai as part of my research.

Languages: Content will be localized in English, Igbo, and Pidgin for accessibility and cultural relevance.

Key Outcomes: -

  • A mini-series of 7 content pieces (blogs, videos, threads, voice-based content)
  • A DAO-centric storytelling thread based on data insights and creator emotions
  • A final community workspace session and recap post highlighting findings, reflections, and feedback

Q4. Evaluation Factor – Measurable

  1. Research 50%
  • Begin Sandbox DAO data exploration.
  • Launch an emotional wellness survey for creators.
  • Create an outline for contents to deliver.
  • Write a blog on "My First DAO Data Dive; What the number says about participation.
    Payment 1,200$

Here’s an outline of the content, I’d be delivering.

  1. “My First DAO Data Dive: What the Numbers Say About Participation” [Blog] Medium.

Here’s what I’d be covering; what I discovered, how I explored proposals/votes, and what intrigued me. This approach will increase participation and help creators understand how to vote, and why it matters.

  1. “DAO Burnout is Real: 5 Emotional Signals You Might Be Missing” [Blog] Medium.

I’d be making content on top emotional struggles creators face in DAOs based on my wellness survey and personal insight. This will improve retention and help Sandbox learn why some contributors disengage.

  1. “Wetin DAO Mean? Story From a First Timer” [X / YouTube].

I will be making an explainer about what DAOs are, using storytelling and my early experiences referencing Sandbox as well. [This will be done with a blend of Pidgin English]

  1. “Sandbox DAO: What Voting Feels Like as a Newbie” [X/YouTube]

The emotional journey of participating in governance, fear, doubt, and feeling heard, especially for newbies who have little or no idea of how things work. A data insight comparison between DAOs using Sandbox as a reference (English + Igbo mix).

  1. “The Loneliness of Onchain Creation (My Journey into DAO Data)” [X/YouTube]

This is a personal podcast-style reflection on being a solo creator in a decentralized space, and how Sandbox became my amplifier in the space.

  1. “A Creator Speaks: DAO Burnout No Be Joke”

Pidgin-English voice content based on real wellness survey responses from creators especially those in Africa.

  1. “DAO x Wellness: 7 Lessons from the Sandbox DAO” [X Thread]

I’d be making an Infographic with story-based data: stress triggers, participation blockers, how to protect mental health, and perform well in DAOs.

2. Content Creation 40%
Publish 7 content pieces:

  • 2 blog (e.g my journey into DAO data)
  • 2 short-form videos
  • 2-voice story (podcast-style)
  • 1 visual thread on DAO x wellness

Videos will be produced on YouTube and X, while blogs will be produced on Medium and Visual Thread on X, and content will be produced in English, Igbo, and Pidgin English.

Begin posting on YouTube, X, & Medium.
[Pay for subscriptions as well to enhance seamless access to software]

Payment = 960$

#Key Outcomes of Milestone 2 Content

  • Increase DAO Awareness:
Demystify how DAOs work using culturally relevant language and stories that speak directly to first-time or overwhelmed creators.

  • Humanize Participation with Data + Emotion:
Turn raw on-chain data into real, emotionally resonant creator narratives using burnout, loneliness, and empowerment as storytelling angles.

  • Empower Local Creators with Language & Tools:
Provide content that speaks in their voice (Igbo, Pidgin, English) reducing friction, building connection, and increasing participation from underrepresented regions.

3. Community Recap & Report | 10%

  • Host 1 Twitter Space; Release a final “content” recap post.

Instead of a Zoom session, I’ll host an X Space on:

“What DAO Data Reveals About Creator Wellness”

Deliverable:

  • Host X Space in Week 8

Pin a summary thread during the Space with:

  • Links from all the content and insights I gathered during the program.

  • Add a downloadable link [Notion Drive] to the full report in the Sandbox DAO

  • Share key takeaways during the space in spoken format (in English, and Pidgin)

  • Submit summary + metrics of project impact (engagement, feedback, reach)

Payment = 240$

“As an analyst and researcher, Sandbox DAO is my way of blending analytical skills with emotional intelligence, to humanize DAO participation through data-driven, creator-centered content.”

Q5. Evaluation Factor – Accountable

  • Primary Contact: @ElsieDebby on X
  • Secondary Contact: @debbyelsie on Medium

Q6. Evaluation Factor – Realistic

This project will be published on YouTube, X, and Medium and aligns with the people, product, and purpose of The Sandbox DAO in several ways:

  • People: It empowers solo creators and marginalized voices to better understand DAO systems and the emotional reality of participating in decentralized communities.

  • Product: The insights and storytelling will highlight how DAO tools and data can be better understood and humanized, creating a deeper sense of adoption and retention.

  • Purpose: This grant encourages creative sustainability and value output in DAOs by integrating emotional intelligence with informative storytelling, all vital for long-term contributor health.

By delivering content in English, Igbo, and Pidgin, MetaMind Creative also supports accessibility, diversity, strengthens global inclusion, and makes the DAO feel more human to African communities and solo builders.

Q7. Evaluation Factor – Timely

Project Duration: 8 weeks
Start – End: July 1st – August 25th, 2025

  • Week 1: DAO research begins, survey and content outline [July 1st]
  • Week 2-6: Content scripting, blog & thread development, tool purchase. [July 7th - August 7th] Publish main content: 2 videos, 2 blogs, 2 threads, 1 workshop, and 1 visual thread post.
  • Week 7- 8: Community recap, AMA, and final project report [August 11th - August 25th]

All outcomes will be completed before the SGDP deadline of August 30th, 2025.

Q8. Evaluation Factor – Disclosure
Beneficiary:

  • Name: ElsieDebby
  • X Profile: @ElsieDebby
  • Medium: @debbyelsie
I’m a Solo creator, writer, and researcher.

As an Independent solo creative, I’m not associated with any other DAO or project related to this grant, and I’d be coordinating with the @thesandbox DAO X account to ensure data and dates accuracy.

How I Benefit: -

  • Funding will provide essential tools (laptop, camera, mic, lighting, internet, subscription) to build and sustain this public-facing initiative.
  • Visibility and participation within the Sandbox DAO as a solo creator.
  • Capacity to inspire and inform other creators facing similar challenges in Web3 using data storytelling, analysis.

Any other input needed, I’d be here to answer them. Thank you. :slightly_smiling_face:

Wow. Nicely done Elsie. I like this rescoping a lot and I think you did a great job finding a niche that you can provide value to. Before I publish my revaluation, I want you to edit your post with a few things that occurred to me as I read it.

  1. Please don’t use Zoom. There are too many hacking exploits that make this a critical vulnerability to avoid. Please schedule an X space and detail a plan that will enable people to see your results (such as sharing a summary tweet with pictures or a medium article and sharing that live in the nest), or some other clearly visible way to share your results even when people join on their phone on X. I want your plan to include how you will work with @theSandboxDAO handle (staffed by Kunta, Sandbox DAO Communication Manager) to ensure that this date does not conflict with another DAO event.
  2. For your Milestone #1 in Measurable, in order for me to approve this milestone, I want you to list as a deliverable an outline of the content you will publish in Milestone #2 & Key Outcomes, and also deliver a list of the equipment you intend to buy. You don’t need to do this now, I need you to list this as a deliverable for Milestone #1 payment approval.

Thoughts? Please let me know if this isn’t something you feel comfortable doing.

Thank you so much, Lanzer, for the feedback. I’ve updated Milestone 1 deliverables including the content outline and key outcomes for Milestone 2.

I’d be waiting for anything else you need me to do.

Which post did you update? I don’t see an update to either one. If you haven’t made an update yet, please update your original post and include all updates we’ve discussed so far

You asked that I update the outlines of content I will publish in Milestone #2 in my Milestone #1, which I’ve updated now, and the key outcomes in Milestones #2.

Please, I don’t understand the part you asked. I should list this as a deliverable for Milestone #1 for payment approval. If you don’t mind making it more clear for me. Thank you.

#Milestone 1 deliverables

  • Begin DAO data exploration

  • Launch emotional wellness survey

  • Create a content calendar.

  • Write first blog “My First DAO Data Dive: What the Numbers Say About Participation”

An outline of Milestone #2 content

  • “My First DAO Data Dive: What the Numbers Say About Participation” [Blog] Medium (written in Milestone 1)

  • “DAO Burnout is Real: 5 Emotional Signals You Might Be Missing” [Blog] Medium

  • “Wetin DAO Mean? Story From a First Timer” [X / YouTube]

  • “Sandbox DAO: What Voting Feels Like as a Newbie” [X/YouTube]

  • “The Loneliness of Onchain Creation (My Journey into DAO Data)” [X/YouTube]

  • “A Creator Speaks: DAO Burnout No Be Joke” [X Space]

  • “DAO x Wellness: 7 Lessons from the Sandbox Frontlines” [X Thread]

Yes, where did you make the update? I need to see the updated milestones please.

Which part do I need to clarify better?

Here in Milestone #1 and #2

So go to your original post in this thread, and edit it with the below

  1. Change a Zoom call to an X Space and add clarifying language to how you will share everything you’ve created with the X Space attendees.
  2. For Milestone #1, add to your deliverables an outline of the content you will create during Milestone #2 & Key Outcomes
  3. For MIlestones #1, add to your deliverables a list of the equipment you intend to buy.

“An outline of Milestone #2 content” is a good start, but I need you to deliver more of an outline. What will each cover? I need to see what you intend on writing about.

Hi Lanzer, you can check it out. I’ve made the edits in my original post.
Thank you, I’d be waiting for your feedback.

Okay I see now, you modified this post

Okay I’ll review

@ElsieDebby I’d like to confirm that you intend to have not narrative explanations, but a lot of images and visual content in your articles that can show people the statistics and metrics that you show them. Did you plan on including a lot of visuals, some, or just a few?

Hi Lanzer,

Yes, it wouldn’t be just narratives, its data and statistics-driven to show metrics. I’d include 80% visuals.

Okay, good, thank you

Including this as optional help for your visuals. I have created a number of visuals for my SANDDAO podcast episodes. The Checkbook needs a little bit of updating, but it’s good data to help get you started. The Common Slides have a lot of DAO-specific information and visuals
