❌ Application #29 Hydrapad Grant for user Onboarding via Launchpad

Hydrapad Grant Application for The Sandbox Ecosystem

TL;DR: We have previously applied for a grants via web3 integration. And was rejected.

Previous Application: Grants Application for Hydrapad - Revolutionizing web3 ecosystem - #5 by yuelwolf

Reasoning: System is too complicated and not user friendly enough, Plus the budget is too high. So we have cut a lot of edges and made the application simplified. Also instead of Web3 integration, We are applying for Community growth, As we are in test phase of our application, Where over 500+ users have taken part in testing phase.

So we are concentrating on new user onboarding to Sandbox ecosystem with Onchain KPI validation, Creating an app that is already has proven success rate & popular in the market, with SAND backed instant Token + Presale creation with live trading. and demand in the market. Sandbox promotion via twitter spaces once a week.

Step by step User Guide for testing and test launch experiences.

Step 1. Go to - https://test.hydrapad.com ( make sure you have at least 1 POL in your wallet in Polygon mainnet )

Step 2.

Completing these steps should take you less than a minute and less than 10 sec your token + Presale deployment will be completed. The app will take you to the live trading page ( a mini DEX is integrated on contract ), where you should be able to trade your own token live on Polygon mainnet. All on-chain datas will be available there to do your own due diligence.

Please feel free to provide feedback and suggestions. We are very excited to get this app live. Help us build on Sandbox eco-system. We hope to bring new userbase, as well as tap into already existing userbase within Sandbox community. :raising_hands:

My initial instinct is that tool-building is not a good fit for Community Engagement and Charity domain. Even the one tool-based application I anticipate receiving is focused on a human interfacing campaign to do workshops and curriculum-based learning.

Before I evaluate this application as not a good fit, I want to explore a few things that might fit.

When I went to your website I only saw under development, and your X account shows the below. Would you mind pointing me to the proven success and popularity please?

( Create Token + deploy Presale contract in 1 click with live trading - Polygon mainnet is being tested )

So is the main point of this grant is to develop a cross-chain capability with Polygon that enables the SAND token to host a token launch?

  1. User Onboarding: Drive 500–1,000 new users to The Sandbox ecosystem via Hydrapad’s launchpad.

Where and how do you discover these new users?

Community Amplification: Host monthly Twitter Spaces to promote Sandbox gaming, NFTs, and creator opportunities.

I didn’t see any previous X spaces on the Hydrapad account except some reposting of a Gitcoin space, have you hosted any before?

Hello Lanzer, Thank you for your thoughtful review. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify our application. To answer your question, as you know that we are not live yet, so we are trying to fine tune our platform ( adopt & adjust ) and make improvements as needed. Also I should point out that similar concepts exists within web3 ecosystem on Solana chain ( such as Pump.fun, Raydium launch, DAOs fun ) etc.. and seems fairly popular. So we believe that there are potential that we can try something similar in EVM chains. Also you have rightly pointed out that some of the features are not available on the dashboard, Those options are complementary features ( Extra added ) Platform can function perfectly fine without them. We thought that those features can be helpful and nice to have. Therefore develop slowly as we go.

Yes you are correct. Here is a scenario.
Someone has undeveloped land, But wants to raise fund for development.
User can issue a ECR20 token via our platform to host a presale which is backed by SAND token and can be traded live on our platform, Land owner can have instant access to fund they need to develop their land.

To ensure ecosystem alignment, Hydrapad will require SAND tokens for all core activities:

  1. SAND as Base Currency: Every presale participation and project creation will exclusively use SAND
  2. Permanent Liquidity Locking: All presale liquidity pools will be SAND/ pairs, permanently locking SAND in LPs
  3. Scalable Value Capture:
  • 50 presales ≈ ~$25K SAND locked (conservative estimate)
  • 500-1,000 presales → eg. $250K-$500K+ SAND Locked
  1. Market Validation: While platforms like pump.fun demonstrate 800-1,200 daily launches on Solana, Hydrapad will focus on quality EVM projects that drive net-new users to Sandbox

Contract Verification :
We have launched our test contract on 5 different chains, you can see user participation and onchain activity via Hydrapad factory contract, shown as below:

Our Polygon test factory has processed 142 presale deployments:

(View “Contract Creation” events for deployment count)

We have drawn interest from 1000+ gitcoin community members and received donations from 1300+ Gitcoin passport verified wallet in GG23. It was our first time taking part in gitcoin grants. And received much love from the community. Which we raised 2700+ USDC from there. We think there is a demand for our application in the EVM chains. We just need to provide a fair & secure environment to experiment.

Consolidation of userbase:
We are confident that with the right approach/marketing strategy we can onboard and introduce new userbase to Sandbox eco-system. We are speaking to KOL groups and knowledgeable individuals within web3 ecosystem to introduce our platform to wider web3 communities. We believe if this successful, this will have positive impact.

We have been speaker in few twitter spaces. We intend to organize twitter spaces regularly just to provide update on our development + onboard new users. Perhaps some of you can join in for a live discussion. That would be a great idea.

Thank you for the insight. I’ll need to think and reflect on what you’ve said. Your grant seems much more applicable to Web3 integration, but I realize you said you’ve previously applied there.

I’m not sure that this is a good fit for community engagement. I’ll think this over and write a response. I really appreciate your perseverence.

Thank you! I’ll factor this in. How long has your year site been using the test build you uploaded to YouTube?

It has been 4 weeks, We have deployed the test site. But platform optimization & bug fixes are ongoing. And we just uploaded the demo video on youtube yesterday. We intend to update the contract with SAND integration, customize the platform layout with Sandbox promo adds, creators contents and provide complete walk through tutorial video with using SAND in our next update. We welcome any Sandbox content creators from here to join and collaborate with us.

Gotcha. Yeah, I think this is a better fit for web3-ecosystem led by @yuelwolf , he has a much bigger budget and his domain is based on tool development and integration.

Apologies, I won’t be able to approve this for Community Engagement. grant-rejected

Even so! Your grant was powerfully written. I liked how you summarized your product and yet you still thoroughly gave the info needed.

Thanks for your kind words. We will seek help from else where.
