This grant will fund the Builder’s Corner initiative, a content driven (Podcast) project focused on discovering, documenting, and amplifying the stories of African builders who are actively creating within the Web3 space.

Specific Outcomes:

  • Quality content creation materials
  • Produce high-quality storytelling content.
  • Create and publish 7 builder focused video episodes
  • Establish a dedicated builder community on Telegram/Discord for continued engagement and collaboration.
  • Host at least 1 live twitter space and onboarding sessions/workshop that will introduce builders to the Sandbox ecosystem and encourage participation.

Builder’s Corner will provide a platform for underrepresented builders, inspiring more creators and developers to join the open metaverse and directly aligning with Sandbox’s mission to empower creators globally.

Milestone 1: Setup & Preparation (40%) – 800 USDC

  • Develop and share guest briefing materials
  • Secure and schedule 2 Sandbox-related builders
  • Publish 1 podcast video
  • Complete audio/visual improvements (subtitles, transition refinements)

Milestone 2: Content Rollout (30%) – 600 USDC

  • Publish 3 more full Builder’s Corner podcast interviews
  • Secure and schedule 2 Sandbox-related builders
  • Promote on Twitter, YouTube, and Sandbox communities
  • Host twitter space and workshop

Include clips and subtitles for all videos

Milestone 3: – Final Output & Community Impact (30%) – 600 USDC

  • Publish final 3 Builder’s Corner podcast interviews
  • Submit final delivery report and Sandbox-aligned outcomes
  • Share learnings and performance summary

Q6 Evaluation Factor – Realistic

Builder’s Corner will:

  • Increase visibility for African builders, many of whom lack platforms to share their work and stories

  • It will Increase visibility of sandbox to African builders both technical and non technical, many of whom lack platforms to share their work and stories

  • Onboard builders into Sandbox by exposing them to the metaverse, storytelling tools, and Web3 opportunities.

  • Foster a growing builder network that can eventually collaborate with Sandbox and contribute to the metaverse narrative

The initiative aligns with Sandbox’s people-focused mission to empower creators and expand access to the open metaverse, particularly from emerging regions that are often underrepresented.

By amplifying builder’s stories and introducing new creators to Sandbox’s potential, Builder’s Corner will encourage more creator-driven adoption and support a thriving, diverse ecosystem.

Q7 Evaluation Factor – Timely

Week 1 TO 2: JULY 8th to JULY 19th

  • Develop and share guest briefing materials
  • publish onboarding content.
  • Publish 2 episodes.
  • Host 1 workshop

Weeks 3 – 8: JULY 20th to AUGUST 29th

  • Purchase tools and equipment
  • Host a twitter space
  • Publish 6 more episodes.
    All deliverables completed before August 30th.

Q8 Evaluation Factor – Disclosure

@Ekeson_wtb Independent Web3 content creator and community builder.

I am the sole executor of this project and the sole beneficiary of the grant. The funds will be used strictly for content production and builder onboarding.

There will be no DAO voting power or governance influence tied to this grant. The value returned will be through content, community engagement, and platform amplification only.
