Ekeson,

Apologies. I already have multiple grants that are producing storytelling content in the African region. I won’t be able to approve another grant that is similar.

Thank you @Lanzer for the quick response and consideration.

I appreciate the work Sandbox is doing to empower creators.

Just to share, I recently launched the first episode of Builder’s Corner and thought you might like to see the type of content I’m building.

Here’s the link: https://x.com/ekeson_wtb/status/1939569179029291053

I’ll stay connected and would love to explore ways to contribute to the Sandbox ecosystem in the future through different initiatives.

Thanks again for your time and consideration!

Interesting…I’m glad you included an X link to your profile, which then linked me to your latest video.

We don’t have a builder-centric interviewing podcast at the moment. So let’s say you were approved only for the builder’s corner podcast interviews and you had until Aug 30th to get all the videos published…how would you do it? Who would you interview?

Some random things I noticed while watching the video:

  • Could you ensure that subtitles were enabled so that we can understand everything being said?
  • Could the short noise transition cuts be softened so that it isn’t as intense?

Hi Lanzer,

Thank you so much for your thoughtful response and for considering this angle.

Pardon the delayed reply, I shot alot of videos today just getting hold of my main phone.

Yes, I’m fully prepared to focus specifically on the Builder’s Corner podcast interviews and can confidently commit to delivering all the episodes before August 30th.

Here’s how I would execute it:

I plan to release a minimum of 8 full podcast interviews before the deadline, 30th August(One per week), with teaser clips and social media activations to drive reach.

I will follow a weekly publishing schedule, ensuring consistent content drops while maintaining high production quality.

I will ensure subtitles are enabled on all future episodes to improve accessibility.

I will also soften the noise transition cuts as you recommended, to improve the listening experience.

I would interview builders who have built products, i would also include some Sandbox DAO Builders/ contributors within my reach

Makes sense! Thank you. I would like all 8 interviews to be Sandbox related. How would you go about finding those interview guests and scheduling them?

Here’s how I plan to structure the lineup:

I will prioritize to feature Sandbox related builders for a good portion of the interviews.

I will also include builders from the broader Web3 ecosystem whose stories can inspire and potentially attract more builders into the Sandbox ecosystem.

This balance will:

Spotlight active Sandbox builders

Encourage new creators to explore Sandbox

Provide a diverse and engaging content mix that supports the Sandbox mission

For sourcing Sandbox builders, I plan to:

➟ Leverage Sandbox Game Jam records, grant winners, and Discord communities

➟ Post open calls for builders via Twitter, Discord, and Sandbox aligned groups

➟ Direct recommendations from you if any

I will ensure all guests are aligned with the spirit of building, storytelling, and growth.

From what I understand, “broader Web3 ecosystem” means non-Sandbox builders, correct? Can you give me an idea of how many of the 8 you think is reasonable for non-Sandbox builders?

How would you make those interviews relevant to the Sandbox ecosystem?

Yes, by “broader Web3 ecosystem,” I meant builders who may not currently be building on Sandbox.

To keep the series strongly tied to Sandbox, I think a reasonable and valuable mix would be:

5 out of 8 interviews focused on active Sandbox builders.

Up to 3 interviews featuring broader Web3 builders, who could offer fresh perspectives and potentially be inspired to explore the Sandbox ecosystem.

For the non-Sandbox interviews:

I will ask Sandbox aligned questions in every episode to maintain relevance, such as:

➟ “What would you like to build if you had access to Sandbox Game Maker or VoxEdit?”

➟ “Have you ever considered building a metaverse experience? What would it look like?”

➟ “How do you see platforms like Sandbox fitting into your future projects?”

This approach allows us to:

Highlight Sandbox builders directly.

Introduce new builders to Sandbox tools and possibilities through storytelling.

Keep Sandbox at the center of the conversation even when interviewing external guests.

Hello @Lanzer

Hope you’re doing well

Just wanted to gently follow up on our chat about Builder’s Corner.

I have shared some thoughts on the builder mix and how I’d keep it Sandbox focused would love to hear your thoughts when you get a chance.

That could work, yes. Just please make sure you send them some material so that they know how they can answer that question and not be surprised about it.

If you have anything else you’d like to add, I’m going to think on this over the weekend and give you a decision before 0200 EST on Tuesday.

Hey @Ekeson ,

I went through everything again. The max I can fund with my remaining budget is 2K USDC. If this is something you’re willing to do, please revise your Post #1 application down to 2K USDC worth of work, let me know that you revised your application and I’ll evaluate it after that.

Thank you so much for considering the project and for offering a pathway forward with the 2K USDC budget
I truly appreciate your flexibility.

I’ll go ahead and revise my application to fit the new budget and project scope for your review.
