This grant is designed for a campaign that both addresses and co-develops the student component within the Sandbox ecosystem. This comprehensive campaign will span multiple phases to achieve its objectives. Outcomes include:

  • Phase One (August 5 - August 31):
    • Participation in an IRL event in collaboration with an Exchange in Argentina, showcasing the Sandbox ecosystem to builders, creators, and KOLs.
    • Content creation about the ecosystem with creators in five Latin American countries (Argentina, Peru, Chile, Venezuela, and Colombia).
    • Streams by creators and gaming communities (GNs).
    • A Meet and Twitter Space where the technical team will explain how to build in the Sandbox ecosystem for students.
    • Exposure of the Sandbox ecosystem to Web3 student communities in collaboration with partners.
    • All metrics related to content creation and event attendees, as well as base designs for the creations, will be shared.
  • Phase Two (September 1 - September 30):
    • Participation in an IRL event in Peru, where Sandbox is the main partner, accompanied by another sponsor, dedicated to showcasing the ecosystem and minigames.
    • Content creation by builders outside the gaming ecosystem.
    • A Twitter Space with ambassadors focusing on the gaming ecosystem as a central topic of interaction.
    • All content creation, metrics, results, and testing from the event and its approach will be shared and measured.
  • Phase Three (October 1 - October 30):
    • A virtual “Gaming Night” with students from the UTN Argentina Web3 expert course to introduce them to The Sandbox metaverse and invite them to create their own experiences.
    • Payments to content creators.
    • Compilation of statistics from all three phases.

All outcomes are focused on expanding the reach of The Sandbox ecosystem to student communities, fostering creation, and amplifying regional participation, especially within Latin America.

Apologies, I won’t be able to approve this grant. It exceeds my remaining budget and the timeline extends beyond Aug 30th, and overlaps too much with other grants that have been approved.

Thanks so much for responding! We understand that our current proposal is outside your budget and that the timeline, extending into October, doesn’t align.

Our proposal was specifically designed for a Latinx audience, and we believe that concentrating all the activities into a single month (August) wouldn’t be effective. Our primary goal is not just to reach this audience, but to ensure they become and remain active within the Sandbox ecosystem.

We’ll be sure to adjust our proposal for future grant opportunities.
