This grant fosters increased community content creation in the Sandbox ecosystem by introducing culturally relevant African lore and storytelling to the metaverse. It expands Sandbox’s user base by engaging non-technical creators and producing new, original game assets and narratives that can be scaled post-event. This aligns with Sandbox’s mission to empower creators and grow its cultural and narrative diversity. The project explicitly connects community-driven content with enhancing Sandbox’s metaverse richness and user retention.

Q7 Evaluation Factor – Timely

The project timeline aligns with Web3Conf Enugu scheduled for September 20–27, 2025, with pre-event onboarding and story submissions occurring by August 2025, live event delivery in September, and post-event game integration completed by the end of October 2025. All milestones will be executed promptly, with sufficient time for project wrap-up and deliverables prior to the grant program deadline.

Q8 Evaluation Factor – Disclosure

The beneficiaries of this grant are NextBridge Africa and Web3Conf Enugu organizers, Tobi which is publicly visible via Telegram and Twitter. NextBridge Africa is a recognized blockchain community and event organizer focused on Web3 ecosystem growth in Africa. Monetary benefits will be directed towards facilitator fees, creative development, and operational costs to ensure project delivery. The broader community of creators participating in the event will benefit from capacity building and exposure within the Sandbox ecosystem.
