✅ Application #6 Onboarding Africans Students into Web3 | Blockchain Education and Development

@MrRightNow

The deliverables in the milestone are meant to be delivered before payment is made. If milestone #1 is ready to be delivered, please post links and screenshots in here so that I can judge them.

If you meant for payment to be released to you before and wasn’t aware this is how the milestones were to be interpreted, please propose a new Milestone 1 and reorder your existing milestones behind it.

In the new milestone 1, make sure you can propose deliverables that you can publish existing evidence for. Such as a written plan that you can screenshot or link, or anything else that gives evidence you are making progress toward your grants objectives. You can keep $900 as the first payment, but please make sure the deliverables are strong and you can prove you met them.

Thank you Sir Money, I’m still coming to your dms, to get some mentorship on some of the plans i want to integrate in this project. have a blessed week

Revised Milestone Payment Request: Program Setup, Onboarding and Implementation

Timeline: 1-3 Months

Total Grant Amount: $3000

Sir Lanzer,

Thank you for the clarification on milestone expectations. I now understand that deliverables should typically precede payment. However, I’d like to propose revised Milestones that reflects the setup and activation phase, with clearly defined deliverables that can be published immediately upon completion and which require initial funding to execute.

Updated Milestone 1 – Program Foundation Setup (Preliminary Phase | Month 1)

Requested Amount : $900 (30% of $3,000 grant total)

Objective:

Lay the groundwork for the Web3 education initiative by creating a project plan, recruitment materials, and outreach infrastructure necessary to support onboarding and curriculum development.

Deliverables:

  • A detailed curriculum outline (Google Doc or PDF) including:

    • Module breakdowns for Blockchain Fundamentals, The Sandbox Metaverse, and Voxel Art.
  • Draft onboarding material for students

  • A call-to-action flyer or poster for student recruitment.

Purpose of Requested Funds ($900):

  • Compensation for curriculum planning and content development.

  • Design and preparation of onboarding materials.

  • Outreach efforts to universities (comms, proposal creation, scheduling).

  • Form partnerships with at least 2 Universities in Nigeria

  • Design assets for recruitment materials.

Revised Milestone 2: Training Implementation & Community Launch

Timeline: Month 2

Requested Payment: $1,200 (40% of $3,000 grant total)

Once the foundational elements have been developed and funded through Milestone 1, this next phase focuses on executing training, engaging students, and launching community structures. Funding is requested upfront to allow for smooth implementation, with full evidence of deliverables to be submitted upon completion.

Objectives:

  • Facilitate in-depth training for at least 10 students, covering:

    • Blockchain fundamentals

    • Practical Web3 onboarding

    • Asset creation in The Sandbox

  • Certify participants upon completion (certificates, submissions, or snapshots will be provided).

  • Launch and support university-based Web3 communities:

    • At least one club will host a Sandbox-focused workshop or project showcase.

Use of Funds:

  • Facilitation and instructor fees

  • Access to tools/resources (e.g., Sandbox accounts, creative software)

  • Certification design and delivery

  • Logistics and materials for university club activation

  • Workshop organization support

Evidence to be Provided Upon Completion:

  • Photos/screenshots of live training sessions

  • Copies or links to student certification submissions

  • List of participants with progress records

  • Documentation of launched clubs and hosted events

  • Social or community updates reflecting student engagement

This milestone represents the impact phase of the initiative which is made possible by the groundwork established in Milestone 1. With funding secured in advance, we can ensure smooth execution, deeper engagement, and high quality outcomes.

Revised Milestone 3: Final Impact Delivery & Program Sustainability

Timeline: Month 3

Requested Payment: $900 (30% of $3,000 grant total)

The final milestone focuses on converting educational progress into outcomes by fostering project development, and long-term program sustainability. To execute this effectively, we request funds upfront. All deliverables will be fulfilled during this phase and evidence of completion will be submitted upon close of the milestone.

Objectives:

  • Support at least one student-led blockchain project or startup, ideally utilizing The Sandbox platform or tools introduced during training.

  • Facilitate real-world opportunities by connecting a minimum of 10 trained participants to internships, freelance gigs, or entry-level Web3 roles, including pathways into The Sandbox ecosystem or aligned partner networks.

  • Conduct a final reflection/report phase to measure and document the initiative’s total impact and outline the roadmap for future growth.

Use of Funds:

  • Mentorship, coaching, and project support resources for the top students who successfully completes the program.

  • Documentation and reporting of program impact

  • Final showcase event or digital publication summarizing participant outcomes.

Post-Milestone Deliverables:

  • Screenshots, testimonials, or summaries from supported student projects

  • Final impact report (PDF or blog post)

  • Media assets from community highlights, or participant reflections.

This final phase ensures that the program leaves lasting value behind, both for participants and the broader ecosystem. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to closing this initiative with high-impact results.

I’ll be submitting the project plan in PDF format after this milestone request.

Please :folded_hands: advise

@MrRightNow Send your invoice to the link I DM’d you in the group DM please.

Wisdom, I need you to add back in “Form partnerships with at least 2 universities.” It disappeared when you proposed the new milestones. Which milestone should this go in?

Ok sir I’ll send in the invoice now. Thank you :folded_hands: for all the support.

Sir, i think that might be a typographical error, if you check the project plan on Milestone 1. I included partner with the University of Lagos state and University of Ibadan… I will go correct that right away, if there’s an option for me to edit the messages. That is definitely a part of the first Milestone deliverables.

I have done justice to that, please check…

You probably need to change it from USDT to USDC

I recommend you edit your post and DM it to us in the group DM we created. You have all your personal details in this public thread. Just wanting to protect you.

If you don’t care about your details being public then no need to edit your post.

I will do that now sir. Thank you for calling that to my attention

I took down the post and sent the invoice in the group DM you created. Please advise.

Since you sent the invoice and I approved the milestone, there’s not anything else to do except receive the payment and continue performing to the grant’s expectations

Good morning sir, thank you for the response. I’ll be able to start implementing the plan as soon as possible. Blessings
