"This grant will directly impact the Sandbox ecosystem by training at least 10 students from the University of Lagos and University of Ibadan in Nigeria. Some of the major tech hubs in Africa.

Through a focused Web3 and blockchain curriculum, students will gain experience by creating contents and interacting on some of the games and tools on the platform. The program will also educate students on DAO governance, enabling them to contribute to proposals, reviews, and voting.

By certifying new creators and developers, this initiative will introduce fresh talent into the ecosystem and foster long-term growth, diversity, and engagement within The Sandbox DAO.

This is a scalable model that can be replicated across the continent to expand the reach and impact of Sandbox globally.

@MrRightNow Alrighty. I’m going to pause my normal Score-Decision-Rationale thing and just talk it out with you here. I see the persistent effort you’re putting in and I have concerns about authenticity due to how many grant applications have been submitted with onboarding African students. How many of the other applications in the SDGP are associated with you, in any way whatsoever?

I want work with you to get this approved. I need your help to demonstrate that this plan is authentic and impactful to the Sandbox ecosystem.

Good Morning Sir,

Thank you for your prompt response.

There is only one submission from me and I’m not associated with any other submissions in relation to the subject “Onboarding African Students”.

As I indicated earlier, when I tried to make additional inputs into the Grant Proposal, I submitted a new one but with the same exact information I submitted on my first proposal of which some additional inputs were made where necessary.

All my information is on the proposal, from my linkedin to my email address, phone number, my x handle too, and the community that will benefit from this grant once it’s approved. I have a good reputation in the web3 space and I’m thrilled to show what I’m capable of by making an impact in my life and other Africans of which will benefit the sandbox ecosystem once the project is completed.

Thank you for your guidance and trust, I appreciate it.

Best Regards,
Wisdom Alaribe

@MrRightNow Good morning, Wisdom!

I appreciate your persistent and patience. Outside of the subject “Onboarding African Students," are you associated with any other submission other than the one you submitted with the same exact information?

Good evening,

I am not associated with any other submissions on the SandBox Grant programme. I’m keen on providing all the necessary information on this submission so I can get to work.

What I meant in the Evaluation factor in Question 3, was that I would request for a tutorial from the SandBox Ecosystem on how to create voxel art. There are a good number of African students with the basic knowledge of 3D design/animation and on this grant I would provide them with the proper tools and information which will contribute explicitly to the project.

Also in Q5, I’m not an artist, neither do I have the knowledge of how to create voxel art, but with my adept knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchain technology and the right support from the SandBox Grant Programme, I’ll do my best to impact these skills to African students which will in turn open them to more opportunities like internships, web3 jobs and other gigs.

I am comfortable with the criteria of taking group pictures of the class, and videos of teaching taking place to be able to unlock payment for each milestone, However the first milestone payment needs to be effected once grant is approved which will put the project in motion.

I am also comfortable to provide documented evidence of the curriculum, training, partnerships and certifications as the project is implemented.

Thank you for your timely assistance…

Happy New Month!

Wisdom Alaribe
