I’d really really like to hear Cyril and maybe one of the lawyers explain the difference between “the DAO” and the Sandbox Foundation.

I just finished episode 2 (was awesome) and finished reading all the Cayman Islands business laws, I was left trying to figure out how the Foundation’s required director, supervisor, and founder roles overlapped (or not) with the “DAO”. I put the DAO in quotes because I don’t know how the DAO is situated in relation to the legal wrapper.

I’m loving these DiTS episodes :slightly_smiling_face:

This will be addressed very soon. There’s a lot to unpack here. This is all related to the long-term sustainability of the DAO and the safety of all participants.

I’m glad. I’m looking forward to leaving the land of ambiguity to get into the specifics of this subject.

I’ve seen a number of DAO members, myself included, articulate that our max potential to contribute is currently limited due to this.
