I’m @Sebix, and together with @Harrizko, we’re a LATAM-based team of DAO contributors excited to introduce ourselves to the Sandbox ecosystem.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been working on a proposal to kickstart the DAO’s first educational and community presence in Spanish-speaking communities. Our focus is on building core resources — translated documentation, accessible educational content, and localized onboarding platforms — designed to activate new contributors and support long-term growth in the region.
This kind of localized work is essential for any protocol aiming to scale globally and distribute ownership meaningfully. It expands reach, deepens participation, and builds the trust needed for meaningful, long-term participation.
We bring relevant experience to this effort. We previously led the official MakerDAO Ambassador Program and currently head Arbitrum LATAM — a regional initiative developed in collaboration with the Arbitrum Foundation and funded by the Arbitrum DAO. These roles have shaped our approach to governance education, protocol onboarding, and multilingual content strategy across Latin America.
We’ll be sharing our SIP in the coming days. In the meantime, we wanted to introduce ourselves and open the door to early feedback or questions.
It’s not always easy to find a project that genuinely interests you — and even harder to present a proposal as a newcomer — so it’s really comforting to meet such a receptive community.
That said, the trinity being forged definitely helps
Let me introduce myself a bit more: I’m Sebix. I’ve been a contributor and MIP Editor for MakerDAO’s GovAlpha Core Unit (the core governance team) for over two years, and also led the protocol’s Ambassador Program during that time. Since January 2024, I’ve been leading Arbitrum LATAM, an initiative funded by the Arbitrum DAO and supported by the Foundation.
Before jumping into web3, I worked in both the video game and book industries, and I’ve always had a deep passion for both.
I’m here hoping to bring value to the DAO. I’ll be posting our SIP soon, so stay tuned!

Sounds good, looking forward to reading it
I encourage you to take a look at the other SIPs. There have been a few education academies that we’ve funded, and I think it would be helpful for you to see what questions they were asked and how they ended up obtaining the yes vote.
