:gem_stone: What Are OG Names? (Original Names)

OG stands for “Original” — OG usernames are clean, short, rare, and highly wanted names. These are usually:

:white_check_mark: What Counts as an OG Name?

  • :green_circle: One-word: King, Ghost, Tokyo, Gold, Sky, Ace
  • :orange_circle: Clean combos: Rx, Qz, Luv, Hex, Try, Jr
  • :blue_circle: Short slang/abbreviations: btw, gl, hru, lol, omw
  • :red_circle: 3-digit numbers: 100, 777, 001, 999
  • :purple_circle: Minimal & pure: No numbers or symbols — names like Zen, Jet, Lux, Ray, Nova

They’re called OG because they look original, like you were the first to ever pick that name. That’s why they’re seen as valuable, aesthetic, and sometimes even collectible.

Just like in Minecraft or Discord, usernames in The Sandbox can’t be duplicated. If someone claims a rare name, it’s locked. Our server is focused 100% on collecting, trading, and flexing OG Sandbox usernames. join the discord server to trade sell and buy ur og names

Ohhhhh. Now I get why you made that other post.

You’re like a domain trader but for names… And I assume you’ve created forum names with the ones you mentioned to list them for sale, yeah?

I recommend you remove the link to the discord in your post. I have a feeling the mods are not going to let that stay.

Someone mentioned there’s a bug… when you create an account it won’t let you create 2-letter usernames, but you can go in later and edit it in settings to a 2-letter one :wink:

it is for example someone in minecraft bought name cry for 250k and also angry in minecraft was sold for 30k 3 weeks ago

totally. and if they were domains they would be worth $$ too. but i’m honestly not seeing anyone on TSB care at this point
