We need to attract new users to revitalize the community.

  1. potential abuse
  2. cost of execution and maintenance
  3. supporting data from similar games would be helpful

Those seem to be the open points of discussion on this idea.

Addressing those outstanding questions and backing your points with some research would probably get the support of more @Delegates, @XiaoLong….

Thank you.
I wanted to build constructive opinions.

In the past, I…

In the past, I wanted to bring my opinions to the surface, discuss them, and make the world around me a better place.

Even if I respond honestly, will The Sandbox respond honestly to me?

In the end, it all comes down to The Sandbox’s attitude toward their roadmap.

Some content has been left unfulfilled for years with no explanation.

The next roadmap will probably feature some beautiful words.

But I imagine it will still be unfulfilled and unexplained.

The reason lies in past roadmaps, which are also on the side of many investors.

Before I explain things through the DAO, The Sandbox should be held accountable.

Is what I’m doing a waste of effort, time, and money?

Well, there was just a recent reshuffling of the person power at TSB, including letting nearly half the team go. So, we’ll see what the near future holds.

Your opinions matter very much!!

As for the “Referral Program” – addressing those 3 points above may gain more traction on this SIP idea

It’s a good idea, but

there are still quite a few things that can’t be implemented in Game Maker.

It’s better suited for implementing features beyond simple social features.

Game Maker development is the priority.

I’ve poured my passion, time, and money into The Sandbox for a long time.
I’ve received no return.
All I’ve received is huge losses.

And The Sandbox has had many defaults and no explanations.

The Sandbox needs to be held accountable first.

No matter how hard I work with the DAO, The Sandbox may not take action.

It’s essential that I hear their explanation first.

I previously had high hopes for The Sandbox.

The reality they presented me with was an unbearably large loss.

I need to get my investment back.

For my wife and child!!!

It’s all a similar situation.

Big changes this year and next.

I hope it leads to the Sandbox again.

I’m a bit torn about referrals — a little worried they might attract multi-account scammers.

But despite my caution, I think it’s a good idea.

The fact of distributing 1 SAND for 1 action is interesting (Biversen exemple is good), since those few preliminary actions would have the advantage of familiarizing the user.

Once they get to know the ecosystem and their wallet holds a bit of SAND, the magic of The Sandbox kicks in :))
Also, I think the rewards in SAND should remain moderate.

The current situation is tough.

We would like TSB to explain that their future approach is different from their previous policy.

This referral program is effective in increasing the number of players, creators, and land owners.

I also think that the reward Sand should be small.
I would like to eliminate scammers by combining traditional KYC, low-tech, and high-tech methods.

The sandbox should have a sense of speed in bringing new methods .

What’s needed is execution.

Hopefully, this referral program will already be in place by the time the mobile version launches.

New AI Initiatives

The potential impact of AI in gaming is well-documented, and The Sandbox has already begun implementing AI initiatives that can broadly be grouped across two dimensions:

1. Operational Efficiency: We are now using both existing AI tools and developing our own new ones in order to increase our efficiency and effectiveness within our many support operation functions, from agentic coding to cheat detection and customer support.

2. User-facing Creation: Immersive content creation at scale, whether games or other forms of experiences, has continued to be constrained by time, skillset, and cost. We have made significant progress in addressing this via our no-code creation tools (VoxEdit, Game Maker), but AI will revolutionize this space and we plan to lead the charge. Our unique advantage lies in combining our extensive library of assets and content (1.7M unique 3D assets and hundreds of game templates) with our global community of talented creators (400K+ creators). We have already begun training custom AI models focused on asset generation, and are now actively working on developing user-facing generative AI capabilities for The Sandbox. Both of these sit within The Sandbox itself as well as on top of existing AI Integrated Development Environments. We will be sharing more on this soon.

In addition, we are excited to announce a partnership with Rosebud AI, the fast-growing vibe coded games platform. Creators will soon have the chance to be whitelisted to vibe code games with Rosebud AI using custom templates and assets from The Sandbox. We will soon be sharing more details about this event and our partnership with Rosebud, as well as updates on our other AI initiatives.

As you say, there is very little mention of Land in this article.

Isn’t this thread about the Referral Program?

How does that relate to the LAND rentals you’re also pushing for?

___ RE: Ref program

The SIP idea above offers only an idea, but lacks an actionable plan to enact the program.

  1. potential abuse
  1. cost of execution and maintenance
  2. supporting data from similar games would be helpful

Those still seem to be the 3 open points of discussion on this idea.

Addressing those outstanding questions and backing your points with some research would probably get the support of more delegates on this matter.

I understand that all of this takes time and that you want to be paid for your time (as you’ve outlined elsewhere), but the only way to really monetize your efforts here is if you’re the one receiving grant funds to do the work to launch or maintain this Ref program.
