- Project Overview
Project Title: Sandbox Launchpad – Scalable Creator Onboarding & Education Program
Summary:
Sandbox Launchpad is a creator onboarding and education initiative designed to make The Sandbox ecosystem more accessible to new users, particularly in emerging regions such as Africa. The project will deliver a structured suite of step-by-step video tutorials, interactive webinars, and a localized beginner’s toolkit that simplifies the process of understanding, joining, and building within The Sandbox.
Our goal is to remove onboarding friction, expand participation among underrepresented creator groups, and improve long-term user engagement within the platform. The target audience includes non-technical digital artists, students, community builders, and aspiring game designers in countries like Nigeria, Ghana, Kenya, and beyond.
⸻
- Problem Identification
Many potential creators and users are discouraged from participating in The Sandbox due to:
• Lack of structured beginner education
• Language barriers and low accessibility of tutorials
• Intimidation from technical tools like VoxEdit and Game Maker
• A general knowledge gap about how to earn, build, and publish in The Sandbox
Based on feedback from Web3 community members and creator groups in West Africa, there is strong interest in joining The Sandbox — but confusion and technical barriers prevent action. Without clear, localized onboarding, many users never move beyond awareness.
⸻
- Solution Approach
We propose a comprehensive, beginner-friendly solution that includes:
• 10-part Educational Video Series
Short, well-structured tutorials walking users through Game Maker, VoxEdit, asset publishing, monetization strategies, and more.
• 3 Live Onboarding Webinars
Virtual Zoom workshops offering real-time guidance and Q&A, covering setup, creation, and publishing.
• Sandbox Starter Toolkit
Downloadable PDFs with cheat sheets, asset templates, and platform quick-start guides in English and one African language.
• Multilingual Support
Translated subtitles and localized materials in key languages (e.g., Yoruba, French, Hausa).
This blended approach is better than traditional tutorials because it combines visual learning, real-time support, and localized context—resulting in deeper understanding and increased confidence to build.
⸻
- Impact Measurement
Success will be measured using the following KPIs:
Metric Target
Video content views 5,000+ unique views in first 30 days
Webinar attendance 300+ combined participants
Toolkit downloads 500+ unique downloads
User testimonials 30+ collected from participants
Social engagement 50,000+ impressions from campaign
Creator conversion 100+ users publish first asset/experience within 2 months
Follow-up surveys and community engagement tracking will also help evaluate retention.

- Team Qualifications
I lead a small team of content creators, educators, and community builders with experience in Web3 education, content production, and grassroots digital outreach.
Relevant experience includes:

• Producing step-by-step Web3 tutorials with over 10,000 views across platforms
• Partnering with African Web3 communities to drive content campaigns and events
• Previous collaborations with platforms like Sign Protocol, TokenTable, and other blockchain infrastructure teams
Though we have not yet contributed directly to The Sandbox ecosystem, we are highly familiar with the platform and its tools—and are excited to deepen our involvement with this project.
