1. Project Overview
The Sandbox MENA initiative aims to onboard and educate Arabic-speaking users and developers in the MENA region about Sandbox through localized content, community-building, and gamified learning experiences. We will launch a dedicated Arabic-language website, publish educational content (articles, guides, and videos), and host a series of webinars to teach users how to interact with The Sandbox, including its tools like VoxEdit and Game Maker.
To boost engagement, users who complete our lessons will be able to mint an NFT as a proof of learning and participation. This initiative will provide accessible resources in Arabic, helping bridge the knowledge gap in the region and onboard new creators, players, and developers into the ecosystem.
2. Problem Identification
Despite the rising popularity of Web3 and gaming in the MENA region, there is a significant lack of Arabic-language resources and localized onboarding experiences for The Sandbox. Many potential users are unaware of the platform’s opportunities or struggle to understand how to participate due to the language barrier. Without dedicated support, The Sandbox risks missing out on a region rich with young, tech-savvy creators and players.
3. Solution Approach
Our approach involves:
- Creating a dedicated Arabic website focused on learning The Sandbox ecosystem.
- Publishing 15 localized content pieces:
- 5 educational articles,
- 5 step-by-step guides, and
- 5 video tutorials on YouTube.
- Hosting 3 interactive webinars in Arabic introducing users to The Sandbox, VoxEdit, and Game Maker.
- Building an NFT-based reward system, allowing users to mint a proof-of-completion NFT after finishing specific lessons.
4. Impact Measurement
Quantitative KPIs:
- Number of website visitors
- Article, guide, and video views
- Webinar attendance numbers
- Number of NFTs minted by users as proof-of-completion
Qualitative KPIs:
- Participant feedback on content clarity and usefulness
- Survey results on user experience and learning outcomes
- Post-engagement on Sandbox platforms (e.g., asset creation, community participation)
