Sandbox Multi-Asset Portfolio & Creator Tracker

Sandbox Multi-Asset Portfolio & Creator Tracker

Project Overview and Motivation

While The Sandbox ecosystem continues to expand, most current dashboards focus on general ecosystem statistics—NFT sales, LAND utilization, and overall SAND token metrics. However, there is a significant gap in user-specific portfolio tracking tools. Creators, investors, and LAND owners often lack clear visibility into their personal holdings, asset performance, and engagement across the Sandbox metaverse.

This project proposes to build a Sandbox Multi-Asset Portfolio & Creator Tracker, empowering users to gain insights into their NFTs, SAND holdings, LAND positions, and in-game experience statistics. By addressing user-centric questions, this tracker will enhance individual decision-making, support creators in optimizing content, and provide a deeper understanding of their metaverse portfolios.

Key Features

  • Portfolio Overview: Aggregate all assets—SAND tokens, NFTs, and LAND—across different Sandbox projects and displays growth over time.

  • Position Details: Show detailed metrics for each NFT, LAND parcel, or creator asset, including historical transactions, ownership, and contribution to overall portfolio value.

  • Interaction Tracking: Track key interactions such as purchases, sales, transfers, staking, and in-game activities that impact portfolio growth.

  • Asset Health Monitoring: Highlight portfolio balance trends and asset liquidity status, giving users a holistic view of their metaverse holdings.

  • Performance Analysis: Calculate ROI, average token/asset growth, and historical value trends to help creators and investors make informed decisions.

User Experience Preview
The following mockup illustrates the Dynamic Portfolio Dashboard, where users can visualize their SAND tokens, LAND assets, and NFTs in real time. It highlights customizable charts, asset performance cards, and wallet insights — providing creators and investors with a clear, data-driven view of their metaverse holdings.

Current Landscape

Existing Sandbox dashboards focus on market-level analytics (NFT marketplaces, SAND transactions, or LAND usage). They provide limited user-specific insights and do not integrate multiple asset types or historical transaction data in a single, interactive platform.

Hey Omari! Thanks for submitting this SIP idea. :slightly_smiling_face:

What’s the difference between a user-specific and user-centric idea?

The tracker will show across all sandbox chains , correct? Will you be including the new sandchain?

Hey Lanzer, Thanks for the question!

That’s a great distinction to clarify. When we say user-specific, we’re referring to insights that are personalized to an individual user’s wallet or profile. For example the tracker would show data such as:

  • A creator’s earnings from published experiences

  • A player’s SAND or NFT balance changes

  • LAND utilization or rental activity tied to their specific wallet

These insights are specific to that user’s data, giving them a direct view of their portfolio performance and interactions.

By contrast, user-centric describes the design philosophy of the platform , it means the entire system is built with the user’s experience, goals, and usability in mind. A user-centric approach ensures that all analytics are easy to access, visually clear and actionable for both new and advanced Sandbox participants.

Regarding chain coverage, yes, the tracker will aggregate data across all active Sandbox chains, starting with Polygon and Ethereum. We also plan to integrate Sandchain once it’s fully live and accessible through official APIs or contract endpoints, ensuring users get a unified view of their assets across the ecosystem.

Thanks for the submission, @TheOmari!

Any thoughts from the wider community or our @Delegates on this idea?

While I believe I see obvious differences, it may be useful to clarify the distinction between your proposal and another idea recently proposed, the Sandbox Transaction Analytics Dashboard .

Is this sophisticated dashboard essential for either a Sandbox gamer or a landowner?

hello , @theKuntaMC and thanks for sharing your thought on this
Have taken a quick review at the Sandbox Transaction Analytics Dashboard and while we both deal with analytics, we focus on very different layers of the Sandbox ecosystem.

The Transaction dashboard seems to looks at things from a macro perspective. And what i mean to say, is that it tracks all network activity like sand transfers, land sales and staking movements. It’s more about ecosystem-wide transparency and market trends.

While The Multi-Asset Portfolio Tracker on the other hand, is user-specific meaning its built to help individual creators, players and LAND owners view and manage their own assets (SAND, LAND, NFTs) in one personalized dashboard. It focuses on ownership, portfolio value and performance insights.

So, in short the Transaction dashboard shows what’s happening across the ecosystem, while this Multi Asset portfolio tracker helps users understand what’s happening within their own wallets. They actually complement each other really well come to think of it. :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @TheOmari ,

Love to see that others are also working on the analytics pillar for The Sandbox. While my proposal focuses on delivering macro-level insights, users will also be able to filter (for example, by their contract address) to access personalized data views.

I believe there’s still a vast amount of information waiting to be uncovered — especially as The Sandbox and the broader Web3 metaverse are still in their nascent stages. I’m sure it will take all of us collaborating to build meaningful insights, and I’d be happy to explore ways we can support each other’s efforts in the future.

Best of luck on your journey!

Thank you for your question @hishmad
And yes it’s absolutely essential, it’s designed to be practically useful not just technically impressive. For a Sandbox gamer, the dashboard helps track all their in-game assets and earnings across experiences ie, SAND balances, NFTs they’ve earned or purchased and their transaction history. It’s like having a personal inventory intelligence tool that shows growth, spending and engagement over time.

For a LAND owner or creator it goes a step further , they can monitor LAND value changes, rental activity, asset performance, and even measure ROI from experiences they’ve published. Right now, these insights are scattered across multiple platforms, so having them unified in one place saves time and helps guide better creative or financial decisions. It’s not just a dashboard it’s a personal ecosystem lens that gives every user (player or landowner) real visibility into their own Sandbox journey.

@xtremearcader Appreciate that a lot! :folded_hands: I completely agree ,there’s so much untapped potential in Sandbox analytics and I love that your approach captures the broader, ecosystem-wide perspective.
Your macro-level analytics approach complements the user-centric focus of the portfolio tracker perfectly. Together, these kinds of tools can help creators, gamers, and landowners make smarter, data-driven decisions. Excited to see how both our projects evolve :rocket: :collision:

Just need help with the proposal ,what to do to make engagements and get feedbacks so that we can refine the proposal ,should we tag everyone in the forum or how do we start

This is a common question from SIP authors, and it really highlights one of the inherently toughest parts of this process: advocating and campaigning for your idea to advance.

The DAO process is kinda like passing a bill or law through a government, wherein the author/s of an idea must not only refine the language the appease as many stakeholders as possible, but they also must use every avenue possible to advocate for their idea, effectively campaigning to gain support and/or strong suggests to improve the idea.

So, after an author posts their idea, it is best to promote the idea by sharing the forum link on your socials and with as many other SandFam as possible, like on TSB server.

Encourage people to click the “vote” button on the top left of this page to show support.

And, yes, you may tag delegates or others who think may specifically have input or whom may lend support by further promoting your idea or rallying more voters.

DAOing ain’t easy :flexed_biceps:t4:

You’re always welcome to shoot me a DM, too.
: ) Happy to coach you through it as much as I can

Hi Omari,

Thanks for bringing this proposal to the DAO. Love seeing the spark of innovation and problem solving.

One small suggestion it might help to add a bit of data or user insight that shows there is a strong need for this type of dashboard Maybe something simple like:

• A short survey of LAND owners, creators, or players about what tools they currently use and what is missing

• Stats on how often people check their portfolio or how fragmented that experience is across platforms

• A quick benchmark from other ecosystems that shows adoption of similar user centric dashboards

Having a few of those references would make the case even stronger and show that the tracker is not just a cool idea(which it is) but something the community is actively asking for.

Overall though great direction I think adding a touch of real world user data would be a great addition to the overall proposal.

Money thanks so much for the thoughtful feedback .You’re absolutely right adding real user data would make this proposal much stronger and grounded in what the community actually needs.

To build on your suggestion, I’m planning a short exploratory survey for creators, LAND owners and players to better understand:

  • :compass: What tools you currently use to track your assets or portfolio
  • :bar_chart: What key data or insights you wish existed in one place
  • :alarm_clock: How often you check your Sandbox-related holdings or performance

I’d love to turn this into a wider community discussion
:backhand_index_pointing_right: What are your biggest frustrations when tracking your Sandbox assets or creator performance right now?
:backhand_index_pointing_right: And what insights or features would make a dashboard genuinely useful for you?

Feel free to share your experiences, wishlist items or even screenshots of tools you already use. I’ll compile community input and include it in the upcoming survey summary to help make this tracker something the Sandbox community truly asks for and uses

This is a great idea!!

After you get survey results, you could publish those along with a brief explainer video that shows how the tool you propose would solve a real problem & make SIP idea revisions based off that feedback.

Way to move this forward :clap:t4:

I would like to follow this kind of information from the TSB official website. Not from an external area.

From my own point of view, I do not follow the content of my TSB portfolio. I use OpenSea when I want to look at what I need. I honestly don’t think that 90% of TSB users follow anything other than Land prices.

So is there a need for such a panel as a 3rd party?

Hey @Biversen , thanks for sharing your honest view it’s a really valid point.

I completely understand your perspective ,many users currently rely on OpenSea or TSB’s marketplace when checking asset ownership or Land prices. That’s exactly what inspired this proposal.

This idea isn’t to replace The Sandbox’s official dashboard, but to complement it by offering a user-centric, multi-asset perspective and that is by pulling data from OpenSea, TSB and SAND transactions to give creators, investors and Land owners a full picture of their portfolio performance over time.

For example, while OpenSea shows current listings and ownership, it doesn’t provide:

  • Historical ROI or growth trends of your portfolio
  • Cross-asset analytics (NFTs + SAND + LAND combined)
  • Creator engagement metrics or in-game asset performance

It’s definitely true that most users might focus on Land prices right now but part of this project’s goal is to help more users understand the broader value of their Sandbox activity as the metaverse economy grows.
