We’ve developed a tipping protocol that helps boost community engagement by rewarding valuable contributors. (With points, crypto or reputation) - on-chain
We want to gauge interest by first seeing where it would be most useful for DAOs.
I have two questions:
Would you be interested in enabling users to tip each other here on discourse? (The idea being to increase engagement of native members)
Would you be interested in increasing engagement for your tweets? (By rewarding users who like/ retweet or comment on your tweets)
This will help us know what’s most interesting to you. The protocol is ready and I’m happy to share links if there is interest in taking a look.
What would be really apreciated is that you introduce yourself a bit here 💙 community introductions. Even more if you speak on behalf of a group as you said “We’ve developed…”
About the idea I am not sure it is by multiplying posts with low quality content; re-tweet or likes and tipping those who are doing that we will bring long term audience to TSB. I prefer to focus the effort and budget on ambassador program where we have a limited amount of people but higher quality and easier to control metrics about engagment and user acquisition. (and this is without speaking about bots that could abuse your system)
Yes please tell us more @skyfoxx . This might be something that’s helpful for me, I’m not an ambassador and my podcast tweets might benefit from a program like this.
Nice! The visual aid really helped, thanks for clarifying.
I think a forum plugin would be the best fit for us. A browser extension introduces a level of trust plus the need for each individual to have it. If our discourse forum has tipping, that might help!
Something I was trying to figure out, can the tipping be any cryptocurrency, only specific ones?
The system is cool but putting such a plugin on the forum will create Forum influencers. The forum will lose its purpose. It will be no different from social media.
