Thank you very much for your time and for the detailed feedback provided. I appreciate the opportunity to clarify and expand on each of the points raised. Below, I address each question and concern to ensure full transparency and alignment with the grant requirements. Please let me know if further details or supporting materials are needed—I am happy to provide anything necessary to facilitate the review process.

Q3:
Reaxtiv is currently in open beta with the following features available:

One-on-one chats: Users can initiate and manage direct conversations with other community members.
ETH transfers: Users can send ETH directly within the app (stablecoin support is planned and under development).
Chat bot: There is an integrated bot in chat that can answer questions about gas fees, ETH price, and provide fun interactions. This bot will be replaced by a dedicated AI agent to assist with DAO-related activities and proposal management.
DAO explorer: Users can browse existing DAOs and view their proposals. Clicking a proposal redirects to the associated Snapshot page for voting.
All main features are fully functional (except for the settings menu), and the app is being actively tested by early users.

Planned Features (to be completed with the $8K grant):

Group chats: Enabling group conversations for DAOs and subgroups.
In-app voting: Allowing users to vote on Snapshot proposals directly within Reaxtiv, without leaving the app.
Advanced AI agent: Upgrading the chat bot to a full AI-powered assistant for proposal drafting, summarizing, and prioritizing DAO initiatives.
Stablecoin support: Adding the ability to send and manage stablecoins in addition to ETH.
UI/UX improvements and integration with The Sandbox-specific tools.
Product Offering: Reaxtiv is a unified platform where communities can manage DAOs, chat (individually and in groups), send crypto, and interact with an AI agent for governance—all tailored to The Sandbox ecosystem. The $8K grant will allow us to deliver a seamless group chat experience, advanced in-app voting, stablecoin support, and an AI-powered governance assistant, finalizing the vision of a comprehensive DAO management and community tool. Demo:
You can see a demo of the current app in action here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JTZftb808aA
Q4:
Milestone 1 (30%):
“Integrate and test the AI-powered bot in Reaxtiv” means that this feature will be available exclusively within the Reaxtiv app. The AI agent will be integrated directly into the app’s chat and proposal workflows for DAOs managed on the Reaxtiv platform.

Milestone 2 (45%):
All features listed—DAO creation/management, group chat, and community payments—will be fully functional within the Reaxtiv web app. At this time, these features are not intended for use outside of the Reaxtiv platform.
Although not part of this grant’s main milestones, as a potential fourth milestone we are considering the creation of an API so that other projects can leverage the modularity and scalability of Reaxtiv.

Milestone 3 (25%):
The “at least 3 active DAOs” refers to DAOs that are created and managed by real users within the Reaxtiv app during the public launch period. These DAOs will use Reaxtiv for group chat, proposals, and community payments. The “10 AI-powered proposals” refers to proposals created within these DAOs using the app’s AI assistant features. These proposals will be posted inside the Reaxtiv platform, with voting conducted on Snapshot (users will be able to view and interact with proposals in-app, but final voting will redirect to Snapshot).

Our intention is to make it easy for communities to manage their DAOs entirely from the app—handling voting, payments, group and individual chats, and more—thus avoiding the need to use multiple apps and maximizing the benefits of decentralization and privacy that web3 enables.

Q5:
Sorry, the nickname @Nesso81 is from Telegram, for Twitter it’s @REAXTIV

Q6:

Reaxtiv is not a replacement for Discourse, Snapshot, or WhatsApp, but rather a complementary and unified platform that integrates the tools already available to Sandbox users (governance, payments, and chat) into a single, secure web3 application.

The key benefits and real-world impacts for the Sandbox ecosystem are:

Unified experience: Today, Sandbox communities must use multiple separate applications (Discourse for discussions, Snapshot for voting, wallets/dApps for payments, and WhatsApp/Discord for chatting). Reaxtiv combines all these features into a seamless experience within a single dApp, custom-designed for DAOs and Sandbox projects. This reduces onboarding friction and complexity, especially for new users and creators.

AI-enhanced governance: Unlike existing tools, Reaxtiv will integrate an AI agent to help community members draft, summarize, and prioritize proposals. This reduces barriers to participation for non-technical users, increases the quality of proposals, and helps ensure that community voices are heard and organized. Proposals can be created in-app and then published/voted on using Snapshot, allowing Reaxtiv to enhance and work with TSB DAO’s existing infrastructure.

Web3-native privacy and security: Unlike traditional chat applications, all communication and payments are Web3-native, meaning users retain control of their data and assets, and DAOs gain privacy and decentralization not possible with Web2 tools.

Sandbox-specific integrations: Reaxtiv is being developed with the specific needs of The Sandbox in mind, supporting the DAO structures and workflows used by TSB DAO and its subcommunities, and making it easy for new Sandbox projects and guilds to join.

Real Impact for People and the Sandbox’s Purpose: By reducing operational friction, increasing transparency, and facilitating participation, Reaxtiv directly supports The Sandbox’s mission to empower its community to build, govern, and innovate together.

In short, Reaxtiv’s impact is to unify and modernize the DAO experience for Sandbox users, streamlining governance, payments, and communication within a secure, AI-powered, Web 3-native platform, rather than replacing a single existing tool.

Please help me understand this better. How is it complementary if I must go to the Reaxtiv app instead of the forums or snapshot or discourse for each of the functions required to participate in Sandbox DAO?

Reaxtiv is complementary because it brings together the main tools and workflows Sandbox DAO members use—such as group discussions, voting, and payments—into a single web3-native interface, while still integrating with essential existing platforms like Snapshot.

How is it complementary?

Integration, not isolation: For example, when you create or discuss a proposal in Reaxtiv, voting still happens via Snapshot. Users are guided to vote on Snapshot directly from within the app, ensuring compatibility and continuity with Sandbox DAO’s established governance processes.
Unified experience: Instead of switching between multiple apps (forums for discussion, Snapshot for voting, wallet/Discord for payments and chat), Reaxtiv allows you to manage all these actions from a single dashboard, reducing friction and making participation easier, especially for newcomers.
Enhanced onboarding: New users can discover DAOs, discuss, propose, pay, and vote all from one place, but the underlying infrastructure (like Snapshot for voting) remains unchanged and accessible directly as before.
Opt-in and interoperable: Members who prefer existing tools can continue using them as usual. Reaxtiv simply offers an alternative, unified entry point that streamlines the DAO participation process.
In summary, Reaxtiv complements the Sandbox DAO ecosystem by making the user experience more seamless and accessible, while supporting and integrating with the platforms the community already trusts.

So they can go to this app and access all the forum Discourse threads, vote on snapshot, and make crypto payments to each other?

Reducing friction is certainly a great thing. I like that you’re trying to solve that problem. The screenshots you posted look like they’re in early development. Do you have a development plan that is available to share? It’s okay if you don’t have one, just let me know if you do or not.

All main menus within Reaxtiv are currently functional (with the exception of the settings menu, which is actively under development). Users can already send direct messages to any EVM wallet that supports XMTP—over 200 messages have been successfully exchanged between different wallets to date. ETH transfers are live as well: we have completed over 50 successful transactions on the Sepolia network with a 100% success rate, in addition to several transfers on Base and Polygon.

Regarding DAO management, users can browse and search DAOs, view follower counts, monitor new proposals, and track the status of each proposal (open, closed, with corresponding dates and details).

If the grant is awarded, our next steps will be to further refine the user interface, resolve any potential bugs, make the settings menu fully functional, and implement additional features including stablecoin transfers, group chats (similar to Telegram), replacing the current bot with an AI agent, and enabling push notifications.

The potential for a DAO with all these capabilities unified in a single app is significant:

  • Members can seamlessly communicate (both individually and in groups), coordinate proposals, and manage treasury operations with robust crypto payment support—all without leaving the app.
  • This unified experience reduces operational friction, accelerates decision-making, and enhances transparency and engagement.
  • Integrating AI and push notifications will further streamline governance, keep members informed in real time, and empower participation from both experienced and new users.
  • By combining messaging, treasury, governance, and notifications in a privacy-first, web3-native environment, Reaxtiv positions itself as a comprehensive and scalable solution for modern DAOs.

Can you help me understand what this means? I’m not a programmer. What does a message to EVM wallet look like?

ETH transfers are live as well: we have completed over 50 successful transactions

Can you send me a few screenshots of this please

Regarding DAO management, users can browse and search DAOs, view follower counts, monitor new proposals, and track the status of each proposal (open, closed, with corresponding dates and details).

DAOs that exist within Reaxtiv? All DAOs within Snapshot?

The potential for a DAO with all these capabilities unified in a single app is significant:

Agreed. What insight can you give into your security? I could be wrong, but is it safe to assume that the things you are offering on the website could spell financial ruin for someone’s wallet if a hack or exploit were to happen? I’m not talking about user error, I’m talking specifically about your website’s functionality

  1. Direct Messages to EVM Wallets (via XMTP):
When we say users can send direct messages to any EVM wallet that supports XMTP, it means that wallet addresses on Ethereum-compatible networks (like Ethereum, Polygon, Base, etc.) can receive and send chat messages—almost like how you’d send a direct message on Twitter, but using your crypto wallet as your identity.

For example, if you know someone’s wallet address, you can send them a message directly in Reaxtiv, and they’ll receive it if they use any app that supports XMTP messaging (such as Coinbase Wallet, metamask, xmtp.chat, or Reaxtiv itself).
These messages are not emails or standard texts—they’re private, wallet-to-wallet encrypted messages, leveraging blockchain technology for privacy and security, but the user experience feels much like a regular chat app.
2. ETH Transfers—Screenshots:

We’re happy to provide screenshots or even a demo video showing how users send ETH within the app.
In short, users select the wallet they want to pay, enter the amount, and confirm the transaction from their own wallet—similar to how you might use a wallet like MetaMask, but all from within the Reaxtiv chat interface.
All transactions are on-chain and can be verified on block explorers like Etherscan.

  1. DAO Management—Which DAOs are Covered?
At the moment, Reaxtiv allows users to browse and interact with DAOs that are listed on Snapshot .

You can search for any DAO that exists in Snapshot, see its proposals, activity, followers, and proposal statuses, not just DAOs created within Reaxtiv.
This means Reaxtiv acts as a unified interface for all DAOs on Snapshot, not a separate ecosystem.
Our goal is to make it easier for users to discover, track, and participate in the governance of any Snapshot DAO, including The Sandbox DAO.
5. Security & User Protection:
Your security concerns are 100% valid and a top priority for us.

Non-custodial by design: Reaxtiv never holds or has access to users’ funds or private keys. All payments and transactions are initiated and signed by the user’s own wallet (e.g., MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet), using standard wallet connection protocols.
Open Source: Our codebase is open source, so it can be independently reviewed by the community and security professionals.
Scope of risk: Since all critical actions (sending tokens, signing messages, voting) are performed through the user’s wallet, even if the website or app were ever compromised, the attacker could not access user funds without their explicit wallet confirmation.
No automatic transactions: Users must manually approve every transaction, and we never request unlimited or unnecessary permissions.
That said, as with any decentralized app, we always encourage users to double-check what they’re signing and never share their private keys or recovery phrases.

Direct Messages to EVM Wallets (via XMTP):

Got it, thanks. So what about the Discourse forums? We use that heavily for our discussions and the DAO has ownership of that tool, whereas you have ownership of Reaxtiv but with less capability than Discourse. How is switching to Reaxtiv improve the Sandbox ecosystem there?

Non-custodial by design:

Okay, thanks

Reaxtiv is not intended to replace Discourse, but to complement and extend the ecosystem by providing functionalities that currently require multiple separate tools or platforms. Here’s how Reaxtiv can add value:

Unified Experience: Reaxtiv aims to bring together messaging, DAO discovery, proposal tracking, and crypto payments in one interface. However, we fully recognize that Discourse excels at long-form, threaded discussions and community knowledge building.
Integration, Not Replacement: At this stage, Reaxtiv does not attempt to substitute the depth of discourse forums. Instead, we plan to integrate with Discourse—allowing users to reference, link, or be notified about key forum discussions within the Reaxtiv app. This way, members can stay informed and act on important topics without needing to monitor multiple platforms constantly.
Lowering Barriers for Newcomers: For new DAO participants, onboarding through a unified app can make it easier to discover and engage with ongoing governance, chats, and payments, while still being able to dive deeper into Discourse when they want more context or historical discussion.
Complementary Tooling: The goal is to reduce friction for quick actions (chat, proposal voting, payments) while continuing to rely on Discourse for in-depth debates and archival of community knowledge. Over time, integrations (such as Discourse notifications, links, or even embedded threads) can bring the best of both worlds.
DAO Ownership and Control:

Sandbox DAO maintains ownership and control over its Discourse forums, and Reaxtiv does not seek to change this. Instead, we offer an additional, open-source, non-custodial tool the community can use alongside existing platforms, with the possibility for deeper integration as needs evolve.
If you have specific integration needs or features you’d like to see connecting Discourse and Reaxtiv, I’d be happy to discuss how best to support the Sandbox DAO’s workflow!

Unified Experience: Reaxtiv aims to bring together messaging, DAO discovery, proposal tracking, and crypto payments in one interface. However, we fully recognize that Discourse excels at long-form, threaded discussions and community knowledge building.

What I’m struggling with is, it seems like either I’m using the Reaxtiv platform to do DAO things, or I’m using Discourse + Snapshot to do DAO things. It seems either or, rather than meant to be used together. Thoughts?

Instead, we offer an additional, open-source, non-custodial tool

Interesting. Can you tell me more about this? I didn’t realize you intended for this to be open source.

Our goal with Reaxtiv is not fragmenting workflows, but rationalizing the light and daily interactions that many DAO taxpayers juggle, things like fast chats, payment coordination, monitoring of proposals and discovery, on a single surface.

But this does not mean that we intend to move away the users of the platform such as speech or snapshot. On the other hand, we see Reaxtiv as an interoperable layer, a bridge that helps taxpayers stay aware of what is happening in the DAO without jumping to multiple tabs or tools. Over time, we plan to build richer integrations (for example, previous opinions of the live speech thread, updates of instant proposals and contextual links to the discussions of the forum) directly in the Reaxtiv interface, although once the group chats, the votes and the AI agent are implemented, you can do practically all the things Dao without leaving the platform.

About being open source and without custody: Yes! Reaxtiv is built to be open source from scratch. That means:

The communities have their data and infrastructure: we do not house or control the user data or the DAO configuration.

Anyone can self -have, have a bifurcation or extend the tool: we welcome the experimentation and specific DAO personalizations.
Being open source reduces dependence on a single equipment or company to maintain critical tools.

We believe that this approach is strongly aligned with the values of decentralized governance and community sovereignty. It also makes Reaxtiv more viable as an additive interface and a property of the community that can organically evolve together with tools such as discourse and snapshots.
