History of Application #9 Milestone Approval
Milestone 2 approved for 500 USDC. Overall, nice job, Victor has provided a lot of organic engagement to the Sandbox ecosystem.
Milestone 2 located in Post #84. This one took a couple of hours to get through, but I appreciated how much value Victor brought to the table ![]()
1. Produce and publish 12+ educational or promotional pieces: Blog posts, X threads, graphics/memes
- Deliverable approved. The variety between articles, threads, and memes proved to be an effective way to engage the community. Doing more than the 12 pieces was both appreciated and helpful toward engaging the Sandbox ecosystem. Nicely done!
- Post #95: Victor published 2 blog articles on Medium (1 & 2). Both are professional and well-written. I want to note that there is light self-marketing that is very tasteful for those interested in future articles by Victor. This feels like a true value exchange between TSB DAO and an approved grant author. The self-marketing isn’t overbearing and doesn’t feel like the article is only written to get views. The content feels helpful to those wanting to interact with TSB DAO. Very, very nicely done @Victoran.
- Post #95: Victor post 2 X Threads (1 & 2). They were summary versions of the 2 blog articles. They seemed to reach a different audience than the Medium articles, and Victor seemed to apply care and attention to both, rather than a strict copy and paste. Due to Victor exceeding the 12+ educational/promotional pieces expected, I don’t have to confront the question of whether I should count 2 summary X Threads as separate from the 2 Medium articles it is based on.
- Post #95: Victor created a Sandbox specific meme and posted it on X. I was skeptical of memes being impactful, but this meme seemed to generate a mostly positive reception and I’ve seen at least one new related meme on the timeline since.
- Post #95: Victor posted 22 posts on X. Some documented his journey in the Sandbox DAO, centering around grant acceptance, first payment, calls to action encouraging others to apply to SDGP, a video walkthrough of the forums (loved this one), unboxing of the equipment this grant funded (is that a TSB DAO shirt you’re wearing?), and general everyday activities tagging TheSandboxDAO X handle. Some didn’t apply to Sandbox DAO (Post 5151, 7058) and one was a link to the Medium article (4949). Overall, it’s clear Victor is engaging and educating others on the TSB ecosystem.
- YOU EVEN DID A VIDEO ON WRITING THIS EXACT MILESTONE RELEASE REQUEST? Okay, that’s just cool. Full circle meta going on there
