Our journey in The Sandbox ecosystem started last year! We actually kicked off our presence in style exactly a year ago when we teamed up with World of Women and Nabiya. Together, we built our presence in the metaverse and threw an amazing metaverse party - it was such a blast! We’ve kept the momentum going through 2024 by sponsoring the Woman in Web3 Award category at our EU and Global events. Seeing how well these collaborations worked out, we’re super excited to take things to the next level with this new proposal!

No, this is the first Metaverse DAO we have approached. Otherwise in the web3 space we have been working with Cardano Foundation and Academy for the past 3 years.

Women in Web3’s interview with Zaf Chow, Sandbox Advisory Board member. Also did my eyes deceive me or did Shannon Snow (Sandbox Special Council member) win one of your awards not long ago? I thought I remember listening to one of her interviews and seeing a tweet about it.
Just an FYI. Our DAO has an official Academy SIP-12 that we’ve funded. We have Sandbox Academies in Philippines and Saudi Arabia. The magnificent @markbagogames has been hugely successful, and when he and I did a progress update podcast a few weeks ago, we discussed the high number of women involved in Academy trainings. Perhaps a partnership is in order?

I think Sandbox should take part in fairs and events and should be supported. But I would like to learn some details about the budget.

Are the sponsorships just sponsorships? Will there be something like a stand, promotion area, etc. in the area?

Can you detail the training program titles? What is included in the training materials? What does the Academy setup costs include. How long will the training areas stay.
For example, if it is space rent and computer purchases, I think that some of these things can be solved with sponsorships.
Can you detail what is the content of the Protocol Development & Implementation budget?
- Framework development support: 20,000 SAND
- Signature ceremony: 15,000 SAND
- Implementation resources: 15,000 SAND
I don’t know exactly what they are. Like, why Signature ceremony: 15,000 SAND? What’s in it?

The sponsorships for global events include more than just financial support. They involve active participation and promotional opportunities:
- At the World Economic Forum in Davos, there will be a partnership announcement and an exclusive Women in Tech Global Council Dinner with Sebastien BORGET.
- The Osaka World Expo 2025 will feature a speaker panel and a dedicated space/workshop for The Sandbox.
- For the Women in Tech Regional and Global Awards, The Sandbox will have exclusive sponsorship of the “Woman in Web3” award category, including speaking opportunities, award presentation, VIP table, and a private stand
- For example the Women in Tech APAC Awards will be a highlight at IVS 2025 in Kyoto and represents a significant opportunity for The Sandbox. The event is part of IVS Crypto 2025, Japan’s largest startup conference, which is expected to attract nearly 20,000 participants
The Educational programs have been specially thought and will be developed for our Community:
- “Introduction to The Sandbox Ecosystem”
This course would cover the fundamentals of The Sandbox metaverse, including:
- Overview of The Sandbox as a decentralized virtual world
- Understanding LAND, SAND tokens, and NFTs in The Sandbox economy
- Exploring the three key components: VoxEdit, Marketplace, and Game Maker
- Basic navigation and interaction within The Sandbox world
- Introduction to creating and owning digital assets
- “Metaverse Marketing Mastery”
This advanced course would focus on leveraging The Sandbox for brand marketing:
- Creating immersive brand experiences in The Sandbox
- Strategies for selecting and utilizing LAND for brand presence
- Developing engaging NFTs for interactive marketing campaigns
- Case studies of successful brand activations in The Sandbox
- Measuring and analyzing metaverse marketing performance
We have further worked on the budget, so as to add maximum value to the offer:
Global Events Sponsorship : TOTAL 110k SAND
- WEF Davos presence, 10,000 SAND
- Osaka Summit sponsorship, 40,000 SAND
- Regional and Global Awards support (8 events), 50,000 SAND
- Catering for 4 x Community Events 10,000 SAND
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS - 110K SAND
- Academy setup costs in the WIT-h platform - 15,000 SAND
- Development of Training materials - 25,000 SAND
- Instructor compensation - 15,000 SAND
- Learning centers (4 learning centers: Brazil, 2 x Burundi, South-Africa) - 40,000 SAND
- Mentoring program: 50 community members - Full-year mentoring program. (Includes onboarding, reporting, mentorship resources, and tech support.) - 15,000 SAND

I have a question on the budget you mentionned in this SIP idea. Is this the entire budget link to The Sandbox events or will there be also some extra funding coming from the TSB company funding other events? And if yes can you give precision if possible.
