As the TSB dev teams reprioritize after the recent changes, we should expect to know more in the near future.
But from the response we got initially, it didn’t sound as likely as the possibility of forming estates.

The updated roadmap will be released whenever TSB dev teams can prioritize getting it done.

Please understand, TSB just announced SandChain yesterday. When Artur projected a Sept roadmap release, Arthur was probably thinking the new major product would have been launched first.
He probably should not have committed to a date (to avoid people holding it against TSB, as you’re doing), but the fact is: most things, especially when done with care, take longer than we think they will.
Most of TSB leadership is in Singapore this week. We will bump their respective teams again. Thanks for your patience.

When this was published I read it several times immediately.
Is this a roadmap?
And there was only one sentence mentioning land.
Land owners probably read this sentence and got the sense that TSB wasn’t very enthusiastic about land.

I think it’s possible Artur misspoke when he typed that screenshot you posted above. Perhaps he was confused that Robby was going to post that “update” (not Roadmap).
The DAO cannot speak on behalf of TSB; we can only request and relay info.
Please, be patient while the dust settles after the huge changes still taking place.
There’s no reason not to believe we’ll get updates, and we’ve got @Cyril on the ground with TSB leadership in Singapore this week bumping this as a priority.

I’ve reached a point of resignation.
Land renting is impossible.
I thought developing land features was the core of the sandbox.
All the effort, time, and money I’ve spent on the sandbox over the years may have been wasted.
It seems like all the hard work I put into buying 493 lands and setting up 61 2x2 estates was for nothing.
I’m sad… too sad…
Even I find it disappointing that this announcement contains so little information about LAND.
All I see on the SandChain website is a statement about staking.
Looking at recent TSB publications,
I think they are not prioritizing land development.
My previous assessment of TSB was probably overblown.

DAOing ain’t easy — because it means pulling in different directions by forces who all think what they want is the best thing for the ecosystem.
The best way to advance an idea is to develop an actionable plan with SMART goals and clearly defined responsibilities.
Well that’s encouraging to hear. I read up a few messages where Xiao said you or TSB said land renting is impossible and got confused. Renting was a major selling point to landowners these past few years.
If it’s up to us to push a SIP…well shoot that pretty realistic.
I think we should take a page from SIP-36’s success and ask GBM if they have a solution. If it turns out to be a simple add-on for them, then let’s do it.

I think the sandbox’s roadmap should be more planned than other NFT projects.
