Summary Response
Thank you for sharing such a creative idea during these challenging times. I appreciate the intention to empower both builders and LAND owners through collaboration.
However, I believe there are a few fundamental limitations that must be addressed for this initiative to be truly effective:
Technical Concerns
- Asset Ownership & Reusability Are Not Yet Clear
From my experience, it’s still unclear whether assets used in a published experience are permanently bound to that project or remain available for other uses.
Without a clear framework, selling or transferring ownership of a game experience is technically risky. - Needs a More Robust Tokenization Layer
To enable scalable experience trading, we need a framework that combines:
Experience + NFT + Token Mechanics
— similar to the concept of Pump.fun.
I previously proposed an idea called “SAND.fun” around this concept here:
DAO Proposal - SAND.fun
Suggestion
Rather than directly selling pre-made experiences, I suggest The Sandbox first explore tokenizing game experiences as digital assets (e.g., Experience NFTs). This would allow:
- Clear ownership and revenue rights
- Secondary market listings
- DAO-based governance for experience curation and utility
