Thanks a lot @Lanzer! We are very pleased with the recent progress. It’s still hard to develop on top of the TSB framework, where nothing is accessible and public, but we give our best to deliver more value to the community through our tools and make game design interoperable.

Hey Lanzer, great question.
When I say “difficult,” I am referring strictly to the technical solution and the architectural balance the platform has to maintain.
Technically, we believe there are various solutions to make the Game Maker more open to external tools (like local APIs or watched folders for hot-reloading). However, we also recognize that the Game Maker is designed as a secure, “sandboxed” environment for a reason. Opening up direct file access or deeper integrations introduces valid security concerns and stability risks that the product team has to weigh very carefully.
We are where we are for now, and there is an open discussion ongoing about the possibility of making GM open source on X currently. In the meantime we’ll keep innovating to bridge that gap as best we can!

You can now generate unique voxel models and block structures instantly using our new AI integration. Whether you need rapid prototyping for an asset or a creative spark for your scene, the AI is ready to assist.
- Cost: Free for the community for this initial Early Access period.
- Input: Text prompt or image (characters, items and buildings work best)
- Goal: We need your feedback! Push the limits and tell us what works and what features you want to see next.
The Parkour Module We are currently working full steam on our next major Game Module: the Parkour Mode. We are developing a fully procedurally generated engine that creates infinite, playable parkour tracks. More on this soon.
