Content Creator Management Platform

This idea was sparked by the discussion here: link to forum post.

Currently, content creators face challenges monetizing in the early stages, especially those producing high-quality content or aiming for a polished finish. Scaling and improving their work is often constrained by limited resources, particularly in niche markets where virality is crucial.

For effective guerrilla marketing, it would be beneficial to have more content about The Sandbox created by a diverse range of creators. However, generating this organically is challenging. Quantity is key for saturating social media platforms like TikTok, X (formerly Twitter), and Instagram Reels.

The Sandbox is a game that rewards users in $SAND, making the opportunity substantial. However, coordinating a large group of content creators can be complex. Fortunately, there are existing internal platforms that can help facilitate this process.

Here’s a concept to streamline these efforts:

The idea is to build a platform where a “Manager” (appointed by the DAO or The Sandbox) with a designated budget could:

  1. Specify the type of content needed.
  2. Set guidelines for target social media channels.
  3. Determine the required volume of content for each campaign.
  4. Validate that the content has been correctly submitted.
  5. Pay rewards to content creators upon successful submission.

For instance, a content creator like “@gonzacolo” could upload links to the platform proving they’ve posted, say, 3 threads on X, 3 TikTok Reels, 3 Instagram Reels, and a YouTube video featuring a specific experience in The Sandbox. If the Manager approves the submissions, the creator would receive a pre-agreed reward in $SAND.

Additionally, if the content is of exceptional quality or garners significant engagement, there could be a review process to award a bonus.

To ensure transparency, funds could be held on-chain in a smart contract specifically designated for this purpose, ensuring that the allocated $SAND is used appropriately. The Manager would receive a monthly payment for overseeing the initiative, handling responsibilities, and coordinating with content creators.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this.

Based on our technical experience, I believe this is entirely feasible. From our social media experience, we know that similar systems are already being successfully implemented.

Hi Gonzacolo! I’m having a tough time visualizing your SIP idea. Can you create a graphic or describe it in a different way? :slightly_smiling_face:

Hey @Lanzer, thanks for your interest and for taking the time to review the idea.

Yes, absolutely!

Two years ago, a CM showed me something similar. He had built a management platform from scratch, which is where I got the inspiration.

In his case, there weren’t any on-chain components, but I’ll reach out to him to see if he still has the wireframes or screenshots.

If he does, I’ll share them with you.

It might take a bit of time :grimacing:

Awesome! Sounds good! I’d love to be able to picture what you’re describe. Apologies that I’m able to understand it

Hey @Gonzacolo,

I am not sure I understand entirely your idea but let me try to explain in my terms what I got from your explanation:
You are proposing to allow any creator of TSB advertising his work via social medias to get rewarded for his effort of advertisement. The effort will be measured against predefines criteria and if fullfilled we will be rewarded in $SAND. It as mix of non certified ambassador and creator reward. But as you want do it with “quantity” that “saturate” platforms I assume it can only be achived by multiplication of very small projects.
Few questions based on that:

  • how do effectivelw balance the quantity vs the quality ? TSB has been suffering during the NFT hype about this quality issue that today still has negative impact on the project.
  • how one person can really assess and control effectively this quantity of projects? (eg: how do we avoid bots, submission using original creator material vs copycat posts, threads?)
  • I have no exp. in the fieled but what would you judge a reasonable reward for small creator keeping in mind that you multiply by quantity?

Sorry for the delay—it’s been a really busy time lately.

Regarding this point, we think there are two approaches we could consider, both of which would be worth discussing:

  1. Create a platform to manage whitelisted content creators, who would receive rewards in $SAND for producing content that meets specific standards.

  2. Develop an open platform for content creation, where creators compete to have their best content rewarded in $SAND.

In the first case, this is closer to what we initially envisioned and what we can demonstrate. While we don’t have a fully functional app, I do have screenshots of an older PoC created by @Tobik.

In fact, I think Tobik is a very strong candidate to start collaborating with The Sandbox.

Example 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S7INLWNaRsA

The idea was that, once logged in, users could view their potential rewards based on the type of content displayed on their profiles.

Then, they would be able to add content very easily by simply pasting links to their social media posts.

Finally, they could monitor their progress on a dashboard, showing whether they had reached the maximum allowed submissions or not.

An administrator would then have the ability to review the content, evaluate whether it met expectations, and release the payment if the criteria were fulfilled.

We believe this approach makes a lot of sense, especially in an early stage where content creators might not be fully familiar with the project.

The second approach would come into play once there’s a higher volume of content and we aim to improve its quality further.

@KCL Thank you for your patience. I believe my previous comment helped clarify the project idea further and addressed several questions, while also opening the discussion to other points.

Your thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, everyone!

Thank you, @Gonzacolo, for inviting me to join this conversation ( and sharing my PoC  ). I wanted to share that I invested in The Sandbox quite some time ago and have been closely following the platform’s development.

One of the aspects I love most about this idea is how it creates an open platform for the best creators to compete. This not only accelerates the discovery of new talent but also makes the process more transparent and fair for everyone involved.

I truly believe you’re the right person for this. You’ve already proven with your company that you have the vision, skills, and execution needed to succeed in the Web3 space. Your track record speaks for itself, and it’s clear you understand both the technical and community-driven aspects that are crucial for thriving in this ecosystem.
