How the Red Cross reward System works?

Hi everyone!
I read the event page for “Red Cross”.
I wrote here because I can’t understand well how the event works

I can read this:

The aim is also to raise funds to help people in difficulty by selling NFTs. Thanks to the support of The Sandbox, the French Red Cross is launching a collection of 5 NFTs, minted in 1,000 copies at 80 Sand each.

  • First aid kit (1000 copies) - Sold out
  • The donation cup (1000 copies) - Still on sale
  • The quad (1000 copies) - with a prize pool of 40,000 Sand
  • The ambulance (1000 copies) - with a prize pool of 40,000 Sand
  • The boat (1000 copies) - with a price pool of 40,000 Sand Two additional prize pools of 40,000 Sand each will be awarded to those who own 3 NFTs and 4 NFTs from the collection. Each NFT gives you access to a closed Land to discover the marauding work of our volunteers and take part in missions to help people in distress. All prize pools will be awarded at the end of the event (early 2025).

But I can’t understand how the reward system works…
I bought the “first aid kit” last time, now I want to buy the “quad” for the going event.
I would like to buy also the “donation cup” and another between ambulance and boat (but how can I buy them, they are not for sale?).

How the two additional prize pools work?

This event end on Nov 17th… Can I receive my part of (40.000 + 40.000 + 40.000) SAND pool when this event ends, if I have 4 of their NFTs?

Hey Artorias! I had a similar question. I couldn’t tell if we had to complete all the quests to be eligible for any rewards.

I hope someone can answer us before the end of the event

Hi @Artorias93 @Lanzer I am checking to clarify those points and will be back to you very soon. Thanks for asking!

Thank you Geraldine
Because I saw that ambulance and boat are not for sale now

Hello,
Thank you for your interest in Red Cross NFTs.
The next two Red Cross NFTs (Ambulance and Boat) will be launched in mid-November and mid-December and will each have a prizepool of 40,000 Sand.
All NFTs can be purchased until mid-January (when the NFT campaign will end and the prizepools will be distributed).
As indicated, if you own 3 NFTs from the collection, you will participate in an extra prizepool of 40,000 Sand, and if you own 4 NFTs, you will participate in a final prizepool of 40,000 Sand.
The more NFTs you own from our collection, the better chance you have of winning Sands during the prizepools.

Hi @Johan!
Thank you for your answer
What you mean with “the better chance you have of winning Sands”?
It is not certain that you will receive sand from the extra pools if you own 4 NFTs? Is it a raffle?
Because it seems to emerge from the event page that those who own 4 NFTs will definitely get rewards from the two extra pools: “Two additional prize pools of 40,000 Sand each will be awarded to those who own 3 NFTs and 4 NFTs from the collection.”

Hi Artorias93,
I think Johan meant that if you own 3 or 4 NFTs you will earn more because you will be eligible for the prize pool compare to owning only 2. There is no raffle to my understanding. You can also have a little more details on SIP 5 description although some things have been slightly modified compare to the SIP (eg the n° of NFT to hold to be eligible to last 2 pool has been decreased to 3 and 4 instead of 4 and 5 if the SIP description)

That’s right, it’s not a matter of chance. The more NFT you own, the bigger your portion of the prizepool will be. It’s proportional to the amount of NFT you have on each prizepool.
For example, if at the end of the campaign you have 5 NFT First Aid, 3 NFT Quad, 3 NFT Ambulance and 1 NFT Boat, you’ll share in :

  • 3 parts for the NFT Quad prizepool
  • 3 parts for the NFT Ambulance prizepool
  • 1 part of the NFT Boat prizepool
  • 3 parts on the prizepool 3 NFT owned
  • 1 part on the prizepool 4 NFT owned

What you get from each 40,000 Sand pricepool also depends on the number of NFTs purchased on the 1,000 mintage. Our aim is to sell all NFTs so that the Red Cross can collect as much money as possible for its charity projects.

Ooooh understood, so it is not the same if you have 1 or 10 NFTs, because you have more “seats” on the reward pools… So, for example, if there are 100 owners for Quad, and you have 5 Quad, you’ll receive 2000 Sand, right?
And for the extra pools, you’re limited by the minimum number of the third and the fourth nft, right?

That’s it. It’s all about the NFT you possess.
If you have 5 NFT Quad and there were only 100 NFT Quad sold, you will receive 5/100 of the prizepool which is 2,000 Sand.
If you have 5 NFT of Ambulance, Quad and Boat and there are only 50 other cases like you, you’ll also receive 4,000 Sand from the prizepool of all those who own at least 3 different NFTs from the collection.

Thank you!
Do you know when the NFT screenshot will be done for this event ending on Nov 17th?
Before the end, or when it ends?

All NFTs can be purchased until mid-January (when the NFT campaign will end and the prizepools will be distributed).

I’m sorry, this is the same for the pool about only the Quad NFT?
To join the 40.000 Sand about for Quad Owners the screenshot will be around mid-January, not on Nov 17th?

Exactly, we want to allow people who want to participate in the pool collection 3 NFT and 4 NFT to buy all existing NFT in the collection until mid-January if they are not sold out.
Our aim is to sell as many NFTs as possible for Red Cross projects.

Oh ok… So why the event ends on 17 Nov?

We’ve decided to make the three NFT launches visible on The Sandbox page:

  • Quad (October 17 - November 17)
  • Ambulance (November 17 - December 17)
  • Boat (December 17 - January 17)

But these dates are for communication purposes, not to restrict the purchase of NFTs.
