“This topic will automatically close in 9 days”

@Geraldine Why does it now say that “This topic will automatically close in 9 days” ? I think the discussion on the Draft SIP is likely to take more than 9 days to resolve.

This showed up on the two SIP drafts I input into the forums, and I noticed that my others are now closed, even though they haven’t been submitted yet and are undergoing revisions. Please help me understand why this was instituted, seems like an unnecessary restriction.

Hello @Lanzer this auto-closing has been removed for the moment. The setup might evolve in the future as the DAO grows.

Géraldine

Okay thank you! Can you get me understand why a number of my SIP drafts are thanks to be edited? I’m carrying on multiple conversations at once about them.

Not sure to understand, do you mean your SIP Ideas?

Yes I mean the ones in the SIP ideas

@Lanzer Could you detail which issue are you facing so I could help?

Same happened here on this one: SIP - Creator Toolkit Release

Also there is absolutely no follow-up on the DAO on any of these Proposals, how are we supposed to know what happens next?

Sorry @Lanzer for invading the thread, felt on topic and wanted to add this 2 cents

No no no, feel free @PickaxeMaster .

@Geraldine , please see Pickaxe’s response. We are having the same issue. All of my posts in the SIP Idea subforum has this.

@Geraldine
My latest SIP Draft went from 9 days to 7 days. It’s definitely counting down to 0.

Hi @PickaxeMaster, @Lanzer we are aware of this issue and understand the importance of having a clear and structured path for proposals. We appreciate you bringing this to our attention.

I’m pleased to share that we are currently in the process of streamlining and enhancing our proposal submission framework. Our goal is to create a more efficient and transparent process that will be beneficial to both community members and the Sandbox DAO team.

We are excited about the improvements in the works and look forward to announcing the new proposal submission process soon. We are confident that these changes will foster greater collaboration and make it easier for everyone to contribute to the growth and success of our community.

In the meantime, the SIP ideas discussion will close after 2 weeks (as per SIP Draft and SIP Active) after which the PM team will do a moderation check (guidelines) and give instructions to turn the idea into a SIP Draft.

Hope it clears out a bit your concerns.

@Geraldine

I’m not sure that this addresses our concerns. 2 weeks is not be long enough for some of these SIP ideas to grow before being submitted, as this is a subforum for ideas to improve and grow…why close them after 2 weeks?

@Geraldine this is still occurring and just happened to my latest two SIP drafts.
