Iāve been a gamer since the 80ās, a TSB LAND and SAND holder since 2020, and a SAND staker since it was an option. My VP isnāt huge, but Iām proud to be part of such a great community built around an awesome product. Iāve been an ambassador since 2020.

Some of my goals:
Serve as a conduit of information in both directions, between the community and the DAO team ā This will include clarifying the mission of the DAO in the context of the broader success of the larger Sandbox ecosystem, clarifying expectations around SIPs, offering more transparency in the centralized decision-making process and DAO operations, providing a timeline for & clarity around the DAOās planned progressive decentralization, and improving education & engagement with the community at large
Make sure all of the communityās concerns are aired and given fair consideration.
While remaining personally objective and mostly neutral, still advocating for the community on popular positions
Stimulate constructive internal conversations
Work with the community to create SIPs that advance the TSB ecosystem at large

.2. Hmm. Iāll need to revisit this, I donāt think Iām asking my question the right way. Iām wondering how youāll approach neutrality when employed by the Foundation. I probably know more than most about the DAO Admin Team because of my interactions with them on my submitted SIPs, and even I donāt fully understand how theyāre run, who they report to, what theyāre influenced by, and what their goals truly are. They are a mostly unknown entity to the communityā¦so I donāt know how āobjectivity & neutralityā is achieved when Iāve observed that the DAO Admin Team has its own goals and desires that itās acted upon. Not sure how to phrase the question better, but I think itāll get clearer when I do my Sandbox Foundation podcast in the next few days. Itāll spell out my understanding of the relationship between all the entities involved and what part I think the Articles, Memos, and Constitution plays

I didnāt expect the DAO Admin Team to send RFPs to the community instead of waiting for SIPs to come to them. Feels like the mechanism to āreinforce the type of SIPs in line with that approachā.

The long answer is: I can pull some timestamped May/June AMAs with Seb and Cyril about their explanation of āProgressive Decentralization,ā and it seemed pretty clear that their plan was to hand over most, if not all, decision-making power to the DAO. I didnāt hear that some would be transferred. If your usage of āsomeā was intentional because youāve been made aware of how Progressive Decentralization will unfold, then I have questions as to how that change came about.

Iām also the Lead Representative of the TSB League, a collaboration of UGC creators, and a TSB DAO delegate hopefulāhaving made it to Round 1 of the interview process. I have been around TSB since the end of alpha season 1.

āHow theyāre runā ā Weāre doing our best to be as clear about this as we can. Cyril has given you some great replies elsewhere lately, too.
āWho they report toā ā The DAO admin team reports to the community at large (ie, the entire SandFam). You did a great job covering WHO the SandFam is on your podcast. The DAO reports to ALL stakeholders in the ecosystem.
āWhat theyāre influenced byā ā the DAO admin team is influenced by the Community at large, our own best understanding of the circumstances in question, and to lesser degree (or maybe just in different ways) the SC and AB.
āWhat their goals truly areā ā the ultimate goal of the DAO admin team is the successful launch and maintenance of a DAO that supports The Sandbox Game ecosystem. Along the way, that means A LOT of smaller objectives, which are shared in Cyrilās reports.
