Lanzer's self-nomination for Community Council

Hi all! I’m Lanzer. I submit my nomination for Community Council SIP and agree to abide by the Code of Conduct.

My vision is…

  • Insight, disclosure, transparency
  • To help bring the DAO out of the shadows by sharing as much of what happens at DAO leadership level as possible
  • To enable SandFam’s full participation because members know what they are contributing to.
  • If elected, I intend to improve transparency by giving SandFam insight into how the DAO is run

I plan to…

  • Host community Town Halls
  • Keep the community informed of important things and upcoming developments
  • Livestream & record as many leadership-level meetings as possible (within reason).
  • Publish cross-panels with Special Council, Advisory, Board, DAO Admin Team, and Delegates

Thank you, Lanzer, for your work. Your content is unique, high-quality, and provides an excellent foundation for strong DNA within the community.

Despite the relatively small number of viewers and online engagement during your streams, the value of these interviews is hard to overestimate. What truly matters isn’t how many people are watching you right now, but the solid groundwork you are laying by inviting your guests to the podcast. This is outstanding work, and you’re doing more for the DNA community than the DAO itself.

To share an unpopular opinion: while the idea of a DAO sounds intriguing and promising, in practice, it often seems to raise more questions than deliver tangible results. Perhaps it would be better not to focus so heavily on the DAO structure but rather to build horizontal connections and exchange experiences. And you’re doing an excellent job of that with your podcast. We need more people like Lanzer on the Community Council.

Why thank you, Meo. That is so kind of you to say. I’m definitely feeling the struggle right now with SANDDAO’s majority No vote.

I’m feeling the strain & pressure to add an element of clickbait. Hard to argue with the clickbait crowd when the results get so many more views.

It’s a tough thing to grapple with. But I really appreciate your words, thank you so much.
