I voted Yes in part because I see the potential of SANDDAO podcast, but an even bigger reason is a vote of confidence in @Lanzer as a person in being able to deliver.
The man is willing to put in the legwork(or hand job in this instance oops) regardless of whether he’s getting paid, just whether in his own capacity or with an expanded jobscope.
The vote is coming to an end.
I vote 80/20 (yes/no), because on the one hand I support but I also understand the apprehensions and arguments for No.
A new initiative has emerged from all this debate, I am curious to see what this new SIP will bring.
If you’d like, you can resubmit the SIP for voting starting April 8th, incorporating the community’s feedback. Please let me know if you need assistance with the process or have any questions
Wow. What a time we had. THANK YOU to everyone for the lively discussion. I learned A TON through this process, and I think most of us did.
Second
As I mentioned in my emotional damage post , I’m understandably bummed, but I’m satisfied I did everything I could to show the community SANDDAO was worth it, and I’m going to survive.
WhaleVault’s 7.6M vote definitely turned the YES into a NO. I previously mentioned how I opened the door for their involvement, and as you can see, that CLEARLY didn’t entitle me to their Yes vote (and I never expected it to).
I feel like we grew closer together as a community.
Even though it didn’t turn out the way I wanted, I think this went the way it was meant to.
Well said Lanzer! This was a great discussion and as you mentioned, it truly brought the community together.
Thank you for being the awesome guy you are and for being receptive to all the feedback. I applaud your efforts and I know this is just a small hiccup on the journey
I had 4 shorts created for one of my episodes. Already paid for them before the SIP results. They turned out great! This is what I would’ve posted across all the social medias for all 15 episodes.
